China will not tolerate a US invasion of North Korea and American troops on their Korean border. It's conceivable that the North could do something in the near future to provoke the US to bomb it, but not even the current US Administration is stupid enough to try to invade the DPRK without some kind of backroom arrangement with China.

Unfortunately, war is often the answer. When Stalin led the free world against fascism and saved humanity, it wasn't diplomacy that defeated the Nazis. When the Bolsheviks seized power and fought the social democrats, traitorous anarchists, and Tsarists to victory (regardless of the Revolution being betrayed by the 1960s by revisionists, Trotskyites, and "reformists"), it wasn't diplomacy that created the world's first real attempt at a worker's state.

Good video.

The US should not invade NK. At the same time it is unacceptable to allow that madman to acquire the means to deliver a nuke to the US. The answer is a world wide effort to stop them. The key to that is, as was said, China. They are the only ones I can see who could force NK to tow the line.

If we do have to bomb NK we have to understand that there could be over a million casualties when the DPRK hits Seoul. That is an unacceptably high ante.

There must be an attack against North Korea. The attack must seriously damage North Korea's military. Preparations should be no longer than a few weeks. This is punishment for North korea's numerous acts of war since the cease fire sixty three years ago. North Korea needs to be informed that they must receive the attack with out any retaliation. At the conclusion of the attack the North Koreans must send a representative to negotiate the reform of the regime. All North Koreans who comply with our demands must be guaranteed complete immunity from prosecution. North Korea's top officials must also be guaranteed secure comfortable and dignified retirement in the case of their losing power during the reform process.

Negotiate, negotiate, negotiate.

Besides, you're battling on too many fronts.

If anyone ever invades North Korea, it's going to be China, the U.S. may bomb them only.

Actually, Beren, there is a surprise lyrics large American force sitting in S. Korea

The time for negotiation is long gone. In addition to what I said above the President should announce his wish to recognise the Russian annexation of Crimea, recognise Russia's legitimate interest in the Peoples Republics of Donetsk and remove all sanctions against Russia. There should be also be a clear declaration that a all American troops will be withdrawn from a united Korea.

Politics dont work this way. why would the US give everything for free? politics is a business if Russia want recognition of Crimea and and removal of sanctions they must give something in return

also right now both south and north Korea are not interested in a unification actually they are probably perfer that the status quo will last forever
the only people that would want a unification are north Korean civilians but definitely not the government or the people of South Korea

No one wants the US to invade North Korea, not even South Korea.

The unification of Germany cost West Germany immensely, and Eastern Germany was no one near the level of impoverishment that North Korea is today. Even if the regime falls, North Korea would still remain North Korea, and not merge with South Korea for this very reason. Then theres the war, which would see the destruction of Seoul and upset the global market. So neither the US, China, South Korea or any of its neighbors want to go to war with North Korea. Its never ever going to happen.
