The only aspect I enjoyed about killing larger animals was the taste at the very end of the process. I hated the gutting, the intestine smell is hard to wash off the hands. But the killing became routine and I was neither hating nor enjoying it. I.e I became desensitized which is something anyone can become.
I'm a hungerpath. I kill dispassionately when I'm hungry for flesh. Like a lion. Although they too kill foreign litters/kids of other fathers. I suppose if its in nature we can do it too. One popular tactic in war has always been to cull the conquered male population, children included.
