It's a pretty good resource for a lot of things. Not everything, but a lot things.

My son was having some trouble with a a particular type of calculus problem and was coming up to his finals before university application examinations. I told him to check out the Khan video on the subject (which happens to be above my head). He picked up a couple "tricks" (techniques) that helped him solve the problems. Glad to say he is now in Engineering school. I don't want to attribute his acceptance to that one video but it might have helped just a tiny bit.
