Back when I was a communist, my Mum carefully made it very difficult for me to find out anything more about it or discuss it, without being seen to do so. Still, didn't stop her from banning me from SE! ;)

Now, Mum just stresses because she doesn't think you should be political at my age, Dad keeps a respectful distance on all political debate, my brothers get bored with it very quickly, and my Step Mum and one of my step brothers who is a year older than me are the only family members I can have a serious debate with.

As for friends, a handful share my opinions (mostly), but most think I'm a reasonable sort of crazy.

But adults are different. "Too young, doesn't know anything. Just wait till he's older..."
Down with age discrimination!!

I was the first in a community of people to go all out harliner. All though there where quite a few that had loved the idea, but never thought out to act upon it...

Over time I have converted many people and friends. I cannot explain it... I do not preach... but every so often I call something "Capitalist" and point out what it could be like under communisum. WOrks quite well I must say, being Russian and all...

I will... encourage my kids to be communists, Is shall be one of those people that shall shun their children from god and capitalisum... but I shall do this only until they are of a ripe age, say 11 or 12. Then I shall sit down with them and have the talk... except on politics.

God help me to find a wife...

I think political views are passed down to kids by the parents without thinking. It's in the environment. Just like how religion or lack of religion is passed down. But then again, if your parents aren't too political (like mine), then you don't have an early political identity. But when you reach the age of adolescents, you begin to search for your own identity and political views. So don't be suprised if any of you communists grow up to have kids who'll end up owning a big, super company, raking in billions of dollars a year.

Not that anyone cares what I have to say but, I live in a portion of the USA that is a little behind the times as far as the rest of the country. They still believe we are in the cold war. If I so much as mention the words "exploited workers," or "Karl Marx," they just start laughing at me through buck-teeth and saying "commie!" I try to start conversations with intelligent friends of mine, but they still don't seem to want to discuss the issue of the unfair proportions of wealth in this country. And also I'm a young man of faith (You'll notice I said faith, not religion. I'm about to post my opinion in that area when I finish this one.) which is difficult because many people here think of communism as being "atheistic." To be honest, I'd never heard of Lenin's comment about man practising (sp?) his own faith until I came to this website. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm glad to have found a site where I can carry on an intellectual conversation without being discriminated against.

Well my family is staunched Capitalists, I'm the only Communist, if they ever found out the truth I'd be disowned so fast. I really wish I hada Communist friend. But sadly I don't, off the internet anyway.

The whle irony of it all is that it is all in the person. All government is Bad, but we cannot functiom without it.

Communisum, Capitalisum, Socialisum... they all have failed, do not work, hurt badly or some other way. Politics are to be governed only by ones own ideals, they should be left out of most actions.

Well Vassili, bet you would never have heard me say this, but it is good that you are not public ;) If you want the details, PM me, otherwise I will not post my comrades fate here.
