I apologise about the very frequently occurring question and please feel free to vent your frustration towards my lack of prior page scrolling through the forum.

I feel that I should introduce myself a little to begin with and why it is exactly that I am here. I am currently on the thesis of my Master of Education and for this I have read Pedagogy of the Oppressed. In turn, the references to Marxism have spark my interest in the Communist voice within the sphere of education. I wanted to ask if any of you had any great literature surrounding our current post-industrial educational ideologies and how different Communist/Socialist authors view these ideologies? I come from a specialist, independent school that represents my states highest risk young people who can not function within the context of the above mentioned post-industrial model of education, however after reading a little bit I came to the realisation that our aim is nothing more than that of mainstream education. Fix the object and have them fill a roll that generates capital while happily existing without any idea of being a slave, nor having any idea of breaking free from the lifestyle. Please feel free to add or correct me, or even tell me that what I think is ridiculous. All feedback is greatly appreciated.

I also have another request. Could you suggest some books around other ideologies? For example, are there any authors who can articulate fascism in the same way that Marx can Communism? Libertarians, all that stuff. The more you know....

I do not align to any politics as I consider myself as knowing nothing on the subject, so I am happy to sit back and listen to whatever you have to say but I will under not circumstances attempt to debate with you around these subjects. I am however grateful that you've taken the time out to even read what I've written and appreciate the time you've given up.

You're right that the goal is to prevent conscious awareness of their enslavement and formation of any intent to be free, but it is not to "generate capital." It is to pay rent and interest.

The most informative book you could read is probably "Progress and Poverty," by Henry George. It's available on the Net.

Fascism is inherently anti-intellectual, so you won't find much that is very articulate. I read Mein Kampf years ago and found it quite juvenile, like something Donald Trump might hire a ghost writer to pen for him.
Libertarians, all that stuff.

Maybe "The Road to Serfdom," by Hayek or "The Law," by Bastiat.

I appreciate it! I'll check those out and work from there.

It is a shame there is nothing well articulated from a fascists point of view seeing as they seem to crawling out of the shadows more and more frequently. Hopefully other texts can give me an insight in to how their minds work.

Kind regards!
