We want to change from a form where production is for profit (capitalism) to a form where production is for the use of all, in harmony with the earth...

First, the enormous resources, technology and production capabilities of today can easily generate a fair standard of living for all,

Sounds similar to Technocracy's postion.

I refer you to the research done on it: http://www.technocracyinc.org/pamphlets/man-hours-distribution.html

I see that money is metioned in this FAQ. Tell me, will its 'nature' be changed under this democratic socialism? (ie: can it be transfered, saved, change value?)

Well I guess what form money will take is up for discussion. As a means of exchange it is a very efficient, stable (usually) unit of value. I guess if you look at 'true communism' like Marx envisaged, where money wouldn't be required, and how he showed money can lead to large material inequality, it's a concern. But I don't think it's a real priority to change it's nature immediately.

That is true. But since it can be transferred, capitalists can obtain large sums of it. This allows them to control our current system of distribution, therefore our industry. Also, it can be seen that these people can use money and industry to control a nation. The government foolishly thinks it has control, but it really doesn't.

If Marx would rid the world of money, what system of distribution was envisioned to replace it?

Seeing as any stable democratic society must employ the use of currency, why should social democracy be any different?
