people with genetic and or other maladies that are detrimental to society and not necessarily fully changeable/repairable?

-Genetic defects (retardation, being born with a debilitating genetic condition like ALS, etc)
-People who tend more toward violence (those with cognitive deficits due to improper neurological development because of genetic defect, environment, trauma, or confluence of stressors like sociopaths, narcissistic personality disorder, people who lack empathy, those willing to rape for enjoyment, etc)
-Straight up greed and acting in one's best self interest against the larger needs of the community (those willing to murder for more resources, etc)

If there is an abundance of resources and highly automated systems to provide goods and services then the sick will receive medical and social care of very high quality. Those that enjoy caring for others or learning about medicine will take the initiative to provide any necessary social assistance.

Violent criminals will be sent to prison or rehabilitation. A prison may actually provide a very high standard of living due to the abundance of goods and services. It is likely that society would prefer violent people to be segregated. Perhaps they will be restricted to heavily monitored villages. The education system is likely to promote communication, empathy and other qualities in an attempt to reduce crime. There may be forms of medical engineering also.

There is no outlet for greed as there are no scarce resources to dominate or control. You cannot gain resources by murdering someone because all goods and services are available free at the point of use 24/7. If any resources are rationed then robust forms of identification can be implemented to prevent fraud or theft.

"Well, I'll give you one facet. We proposed it years ago to the State of New York that all school children have complete psychiatric and physiological examinations and blood, urine, and everything else before puberty, and the second examination is after puberty before graduation from high school. That means that your hospitals in your large urban center would have to be capable of 10,000 examinations complete per day. Have you got any such kind of hospital? I'm not talking about the ordinary kind of bed cases; I'm talking of examinations. Then you'd catch all your borderline cases delinquent, defective, and so on. You'd begin to know what you are doing inside of five years. You'd have an accumulative data, and when you're at it, I might as well hit you with this. As every citizen would have his social passport, which is also his birth certificate and all records, therefore all cases of sickness of any kind are reported and the average doctor could get a better diagnosis from the computing machines in the central headquarters than he could do and do it within five minutes. Furthermore, if he made a mistake in reporting the symptoms, it would come back and tell him he was in error. There's no reason why you shouldn't have 97 percent and better correct diagnoses. You would under this. You cannot under this system you are using at present."
