I'mma stop you right there (even though that was the end of your post and you have already stopped). Chelsea is easily in the same league as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Utd., Bayern Münich etc. Don't you think if any of these teams competed in the Europa Cup they would more than likely win the whole thing? I'm just saying, winning the Champions League with Chelsea is impressive but a lesser man could have taken Chelsea to the at least the Europe Cup final.

Sure, it isn't that impressive for Chelsea, but it is something. The leap up the Premiership is more noteworthy, and I'd bet that Benitez was more concerned with getting silverware on his CV.
