Lumumba who? Lumumba f*cking who? A dream dies with little consequence. A name – a dream—is oh so easily forgotten. While history casts aside the very individuals that look to define it in some sort of virtuous and meaningful way, others are propped up – and are set to define our existence based on little more than popular appeal. Appeal which is malicious. Appeal that leaves so many behind. Appeal that is based on the fabricated aesthetics of social beacons that seek to control us through various means.

My only wish is that we do not forget the dead. That we honor the sacrifice that defined their existence. Remember that virtue is intrinsic to positive action. That wrong and evil can be readily discerned. Let us build a world on which happiness and truth can fruitfully prosper. And let our deaths define a generation of progress.

But European colonial powers left Africa out of the goodness of their heart, with only best wishes for Africa and they never intervened in Africa ever again..........

Patrice Lumumba was murdered because he turned to USSR and he turned to USSR only because it was the only country willing to help Congo to get rid of colonialism and not because he was communist.
