I browsed this forum for as long as I could stand to do so looking for a thread in which we share our art but I couldn't find one. So, I assume this isn't a duplicate - if it is, I apologize - please just move my post to the appropriate thread. :)

So - what sort of art do you make? I like to draw - I'm not really very good but I do enjoy it. :) I often do it when I'm upset - I'll take a picture of myself, a relative, or a celebrity in a magazine and draw it myself but make them appear miserable, Haha. I have no idea why I do it - it's therapeutic.

I see you, Haha:

My grandmother (it's also her in the one to the left above, but when she was my age - so, a few more years, this is how I'll look):

I drew this during the middle of the night, after a particular war criminal was arrested - I was so happy:

I forget which celebrity's picture I based this on, but I just made her a conservative (but yet still topless?) Muslim:

Anything I've drawn would get me banned from the site.

There's still a rule against posting porn isn't there?

Suska, I love the first one. The field of stars for the background is well done.

Muslimanka, I particularly like the eyes in the last one, very exotic looking.

Keep up the good work folks, I look forward to seeing more of your work.

It brought a tear to my eye; that's how beautiful it truly was.

Did you feel the emotion of that last dot?

Art that is designed to elicit emotion is a kind of propaganda.

Like Caturday.

I thought it brilliant that you captured the banal repitition of the text only to end it with a larger version of the very same text...stunning...you really captured the cyclical nature of our everyday existance in a way no ones else has...

Very sexy idea, beautiful execution. Was this for shits and giggles, or is supposed to suggest sensuality through modesty?

The second one is actually a self portrait but there is no way to see the detail at web resolutions. Does anyone know if jpg throws away the adobe extender colour space information?
