Yesterday is a movie where this British kid gets hit by a bus. When he wakes up in the hospital, the Beatles never happened. He uses their music to become famous.
It's a thin plot. No argument there.
But if you loved the Beatles music, the movie manages to make them seem fresh. My wife and I spent a good part of the movie singing along.
The ending was awkward, now that I think of it, so was the beginning and some of the bits in the middle.
But I really liked it.
