I thought so. :) And the whole thing is on Netflix now.

Wasn't Glenn Close just awesome in that? Wow.

Bleh... My list of 5-star television is not much longer than 5

1.Deadwood
2.Mad Men
3.The Wire
4.Breaking Bad
5.House

though lately I enjoy UK Top Gear (seems like I've seen them all now though), the Daily Show, The Walking Dead.

And of course there are other fun shows around like Futurama, South Park, Game of Thrones (first season started out 2 star (garbage production and awkwardly pornographic) and ended 4 star (production got better and the plot thickened dramatically).

5 fricking pages until someone mentions Breaking Fricking Bad??? Im starting to question whether I should have joined this forum......

1. Breaking Bad
2. Deadwood
3. Mad Men
4. Downton Abbey

5. Walking Dead( I really don't like this show very much but it picked up at the end of the last season I saw, I havent seen any of season 3 yet)

Good to hear about Game of Thrones because my feelings about the first season were EXACTLY like yours. Started absolute garbage and got better like the last 3 episodes. I've not seen The Wire but Im thinking about getting Netflix DVD just to get it.

Right, but some of the posts seem to date back to 2008, so Breaking Bad hadn't gotten into the swing of things yet.

LOL!!!

That would explain why I noticed that "all of the sudden" the "people who liked breaking bad" just magically started appearing in force.

Interesting Choices, fan of classics myself.

1. The Twilight Zone (Original, love to see all all the young actor's and actresses which got their start on this show).
2. Star Trek (Original) Because it was Science Fiction, international and inter-racial cast tackled all sorts of Cold War topics regular tv couldn't. Could have been labeled "Star Trek - The Hope" in 1966-67.
3. House (Best written; Best Chemistry; Most unusual TV character since Spock on Star Trek). Like Twilight Zone, quality of guest stars and new discoveries (Olivia Wilde, Lisa Edelstein), rivals Twilight Zone.
4 All In The Family (Norman Lear's ground breaking series in every respect - nothing was sacred).
5 & 6 - Had to have a tie; The Sopranos and MASH.

Maybe we should have a worst, because "Breaking Bad" is the most advertised, most unbelievable, worst acted show in history........Stan.......

Mad Men
Breaking Bad
Justified
The Americans
Arrow

Arrow is far from being a spectacular show but as someone who recently became interested in comics I can't help but love it. The season finale was pretty intense. I'm really excited for the second season and look forward to Roy finally becoming Red Arrow.

I liked Arrow too. I like that they didn't make it go into cartoon silliness.

@ all
You can consider watching A prime minister on prime ministers, on DVD. In this series Harold Wilson, in a conversation with David Frost, reflects on the careers of some of his illustrious predecessors as prime minister of Britain. To be precise, he discusses Pitt de Younger, Peel, Palmerstone, Disraeli, Gladstone, Lloyd George, Baldwin, MacDonald, Chamberlain, Churchill, Attlee, and Macmillan. These politicians cover the last heydays of Britain, as well as its gradual decline. Remember that Britain pioneered in the industrial revolution, and established a flourishing parliament. The effects of a sound rule are tremendous and lasting, as is clear for instance from a comparison of North and South America.
