Godstud wrote:So calling it a "trial" is actually a lie, since the last things Republicans want is justice. They'd rather suck Trump's cock for another 5 years than do something good for your country.
Sad.

Well you seem to not understand how impeachment works in the USA I didn't want to make thing more complicated for you. What part are you arguing that I was wrong? What witnesses are you speaking of? Why were these witnesses not called in the impeached in the house?

.

Oh, they could have witnesses, but it would involve Republicans having some ethics and morality, which they sadly are lacking.

Godstud wrote:You demonstrate your own ignorance when you fail to realize that America IS her country. Address the argument, because when you attempt to insult the person making it, you come across like a dumbass, which I am sure is not your intention.

Oh, I'm well aware she claims to be an American, and I know she lives in Mexico. And when she's addressing an American and calls the United States "your country", it betrays any claim she makes to being an American. At best, she's an ex-pat.

Any American who lives outside the United States and bad mouths the United States is, in my opinion, more traitor than American.

USA, with the impeachment, and the opposition to the impeachment, is only demonstrating the depths of corruption in the USA when the Republicans don't want any evidence or witnesses involved in the trial.

Let's call Joe and Hunter Biden, then. Let's call Eric Ciaramella. Let's call Adam Schiff.

The Republicans have a list of people they'll call as witnesses, and the Democrats want no part of it. They only want what they want.

The impeachment outcome will most assuredly let the world know whether USA is a Banana Republic, or the shining beacon of freedom and justice that it purports itself to be.

Do you even know what a banana republic is? If you did, you would realize that, by any measure, the United States is not one, and never will be.

Why are you afraid to answer his very simple questions?

I detest the denunciation of someone as "bad mouthing" and "being more like a traitor to" one's own country just because the said person used second person pronouns to address the said home country.

Technically the usage of second pronoun might very well be part of an argument against the person she's replying to, not a reference on how the speaker herself perceive the country.

Even if she bad-mouthed the country it does not automatically make her a traitor. Everyone should be free to criticise whatever entity as they find appropriate. This denunciation is similar to how dictators or dictatorial regimes (like China or North Korea) demand their overseas redisents not to bad-mouth their own country even if the said country obviously committed a serious mistake or even crime.

That would explain why people from your country risk their lives to leave your Utopian realm and come here.

Unsupported drivel.

Are you a reincarnation of BigSteve?

Mexico is not my country. I wasn't born in Mexico Indy. I was born in Puerto Rico, the unincorporated territory that the USA invaded in 1898 and never allowed the people born there to vote in presidential elections. Lol. The supposedly democratic mecca bullshit.

Another thing Indy man.....the Mexicans don't go to the USA because they love its culture. They go there because they get paid $2 dollars an hour here in Mexico and in some states in the USA the minimum wage is $12 and up and that is why they go there. It is called survival. And the Americans who make shitty wages in Mississippi move to other states to make more money too. That is the reason for so much musical chairs Mr. Indy....not because the USA is a great country. It just exploits workers less badly. Instead of attacking the issue of low wages in the world, you make up myths based on stupidity like we are a better nation.

No you are not. You had a left there that in the 19th century had riots in Chicago and other places and during the entire half of the 20th century fought like hell to get a living wage to workers. 8 hour workdays, protections, insurance, severance, raises, etc job security, social security, etc to make American workers have decent standards of living. That the neocons and the Right now have been actively undermining and they actively love pitting white working class dumbells against undocumented Mexicans and Central Americans, and giving some false sense of pride to some American voters who think the problem are the ÄLIENS from outer space, when it is a bunch of Mexicans of Native American descent who's genes are rooted in the ancient Americas for thousands of years.....while the ones who are from Europe claim the land as their 'home'.

Foolish nationalistic thoughts from non thinking individuals in this forum. ;)

You seem to have a rather sizeable chip on your shoulder regarding the United States. I suppose that would explain your outbursts and personal attacks.

I wish you well and hope you come to terms with the fact that American is the greatest country ever devised.

Perhaps you can explain who he is and how he can shed light in Trump’s actions.

If you are introducing him into the conversation because he can shed light on what the Democrats did, then the reason why Schiff is not using his testimony is because it is irrelevant.

Pants-of-dog wrote:And? How does this relate to Trump’s alleged crimes?

You asked who he was, so I told you.

I cannot, however, explain how it's relevant to Trump's alleged crimes, simply because there's been no criminal conduct. The "alleged crimes" are nothing but white noise from the left.

@Indy

Yes, you gave me information I already know and otherwise failed to support @Finfinder‘s poiint that this man’s testimony is important.

This, in turn, supports the idea that Atkinson’s testimony is actually irrelevant.

Is this some rule for debating you are making up. Perhaps you and @Godstud can become a little more familiar with the process and rules of impeachment in the US and get up to speed with the players and then get back to the thread so we can have an informed debate. Also if you want to debate me we are going to need a set numbers of rules for the debate because my experience bedating you is; you are not a honest debater, you avoid answering questions and move the goal posts and filibuster will nonsensical posts just like this one that only serve to make a 5 post topic 20. You also always have to have the last word. So if you have anything to offer let me know but please do not pretend as if you are open to learn something from me and please don't pretend like you haven't Googled who Atkinson is. Have some courage a make move, I'm falling for your games.
thank you.

This is interesting. I had the exact same thought. I-Man has a very similar personality. A control freak who attempts to bully/insult anyone who does not agree with him (Similar to Impeached President Trump actually.) Same style as B.S. but with less profanity.

Don't you find it curious that these supposed moral superior people have such strong opinions about this impeachment and are convinced that a rumor about a transcript (that basically doesn't exist) changes everything. They want us to believe they are intellectually superior when they pretend to not know who Atkinson is while claiming Boltons testimony is being held back. Why debate them, they are obviously just playing games (very poorly btw). They get more exposed every day. LOL

Well, the "deceased" was less nationalistic, I suppose.

Please explain how Atkinson’s testimony would shed light on Trump’s alleged crimes.

She has had that chip on her shoulder since I came in contact with her. She is a typical well educated liberal progressive that believes capitalism and illegal immigration control is evil and socialism and open borders is wonderful. Of course, she is just too intelligent for a red-neck near-genius like me to understand, so I could have some of that wrong.

But one thing I do know is that President Trump will be acquitted of the impeachment because I saw this on FOX News last night:

Ingraham: The shiny object impeachment

Impeachment trial will be wrapped up on Friday.

Hannity: President Trump will be acquitted

Video of John Bollton praising both phone calls to the Ukrainian President.
Therefore no longer any need to call John Bolton to testify because we have seen and heard him.
