The Republicans need ethnic supporters. Ha ha!

Another reason they lost. Most of the people who voted on health care voted for Obama. I saw this coming though Republicans expected it to be the opposite. Yet a lot of people who benefitted from Obamacare it is purely their self interest to vote Obama. A lot of those who opposed it intensely opposed it on purely ideological grounds but would have opposed Obama and all aspects of liberalism no matter what. In other words Obama may have drawn in some people in the middle who benefitted from Obamacare whereas hardly anybody went to Romney over Obamacare that was not already on his site. It made them a bit angrier but it isn't like they weren't going to the polls otherwise. They said the Republican base was energized but the Republican base always votes Republican. Their base stayed the exact same. The paring down came from the fact that fewer people voted and most of those who didn't vote this time that did last time which benefitted Republicans a bit more, but interestingly while Obama got less votes than last time Romney got less votes overall than McCain, which shocked me.
