Will riots occur if Donald Trump becomes President?

Earlier this year
"San Diego (CNN)Police clad in riot gear and wielding batons began dispersing a crowd of Donald Trump supporters and protesters here Friday night after the presumptive GOP nominee held a rally."
If Trump becomes President, do you think riots will occur 100%? Which states will have the biggest riots and how will this impact the nation?

I know Donald Trump is one of the most hated men in America so there will be angry, upset and violent people

I don't think it would be conventional. There would likely be a very aggressive militia movement and probably a lot of lone wolf terrorism. Things like the Bundy standoff might occur more frequently. The intellectualized re-assertion of the elite's hegemony will undoubtedly be mind-numbing and will just fuel the rage even further.

People should be asking whether Hillary can overcome a legitimacy crisis in a way that doesn't involve starting a war with Russia.

Well. Look. Igor stopped by to say something irrelevant.

Nothing will happen. Nothing.

Tuesday is election day. Wednesday we will all breathe a sigh of relief. All of us. Friday we will head into the Veterans Day vacation weekend.

Look at the last two elections. What did republicans do when their candidate lost? They turned on the candidate.

Here is the real deal. At the end of the day those who back the candidates either have to conclude that the candidate failed or that their deeply held beliefs failed in the court of public opinion. They can either blame the candidate or they can blame their beliefs. Do you really expect republicans to admit that the majority of Americans reject their political beliefs? They won't. They will do some self-reflection and conclude that Hillary did not win; Trump lost.

(And that is to say here that he has not lost yet. There is still a long time until the election.)

What if Trump gives them a third option? The option to conclude that the election was somehow rigged. They have to conclude that 1750 different elections were rigged. They have to conclude that their house and senate people are legitimate but that the president isn't.

Mostly what will happen is the same thing that has happened 43 times before. If Hillary Clinton is elected, she will form a transition team and will peacefully take over the reigns of government.

Some few crazies might act out. The may undertake to commit criminal acts. They will be arrested by the police and prosecuted. That is what is going to happen.

Or if I want to steal a page from Mr. Trump's playbook. Crackers don't riot. What are they going to do? Crash their trucks into the barn or throw the lawn furniture into the swimming pool?

Quo vadis America.

Riots mean civil war. Which means 100 Years of economic development lost, because Civil War destroys more then a foreign Invasion.

This would be the End of the American Empire.

If Trump wins, he is the President of all Americans, also of Ladinos and Muslims who have the US-Passport.

If Hillary wins, she has to see many Americans, want any new immigration. This issue radicalizes them.

The US shifted to right, even Clinton could come through as republican.

On the other hand there was Gore against Bush, and the country did not collapse.

They TURNED ON Trump the second he started running, and that never changed. He is now running on a platform of 'Drain the Washington swamp'. 'Take down the Establishment'. 'Jail the corrupted'.

Shit is unprecedented. And it has them running scared.

The only people who are running scared are republicans who should have shifted to the center 8 years ago. The dems are smelling blood in the water.

Rasmussen Reports, IBD and LA Times.... Three most accurate polls in the last election, say you should expecting a loss.

Notice how Drlee is way off topic?

We will simply use the powers invested by the constitution in the president to put down rebellion and insurrection. What else do you think we would do? Subject Drlee to 15 years of IRS audits, like Donald Trump?

Are you kidding?

My post was completely on topic.

This from you is laughable.

But I understand your distress. Your candidate is about the lose the election. Stressful for people like you.

Dr Lee is correct. Maybe little local bruhahas, no more.

When Bush was elected in 2000, and allegations of voter fraud, hanging chads, butterfly ballots, and scotus interference ensued, the Uber upset Democrats snorted and swore they'd damn well move to Canada. When ObaMA was elected, republicans couldn't use that action, because we have universal health care. So they conspired to make Obama a one term president.

And that seems to be John McCain's plan. because, you know, it worked out so well with Obama....
