The NRA is about 10% at best about protecting the second amendment and 90% about selling more guns for the gun industry. I just love that they are in favor of arming teachers. This is a twofer. It sells more guns while permitting the NRA to piously espouse protecting school kids while defusing the current anti NRA noise.
NRA has a TV station ..... pretty much the whole show is about how afraid you should be and how only a gun arsenal will protect you.
