I don't fault Bourgeoisie for being Bourgeosie as such, individually I'm sure many are decent people, but the ones that irritate me the most who are the hypocritical liars and cheats, who have never truly worked an honest laboring day in their lives and yet who arrange for programs and schemes designed to keep working people down. And not only down, but dependent on those who create these programs.

I usually try not to judge individuals, but collectively speaking there are plenty of arrogant and ignorant swine to go around, on both sides, and outside of the politics too.

Interesting …… rhetoric aside, I suspect that you and I have many values in common. I am simply significantly older than you and, like it or not, the aging process has a dramatic effect both physically and mentally on all of us. Amazing no one posted this sooner. Is it against the rules to post any facts on this page? My friend @jimjam I'm beginning to think you are being paid by the Russians this level of propaganda is epic. :D

Ex-F.B.I. Lawyer Pleads Guilty to Doctoring Email in Russia Inquiry

The former official admitted that he had intentionally inserted words into the text of the email, which discussed past relations between the C.I.A. and Carter Page, the former Trump campaign adviser.

WASHINGTON — A former F.B.I. lawyer pleaded guilty on Wednesday to doctoring an email from the C.I.A. that he forwarded to a colleague during preparations in 2017 to ask a court to renew an order to wiretap a former Trump campaign adviser, in a case that has attracted intense political attention.

The lawyer, Kevin E. Clinesmith, who was working at the time with the F.B.I.’s Trump-Russia investigation team, admitted to a judge that he had intentionally inserted words into the text of the email, which discussed past relations between the C.I.A. and Carter Page, the former Trump campaign adviser.

The alteration was uncovered last year by an inspector general report laying out a litany of errors and omissions in the Page wiretap applications. They included the F.B.I.’s failure to tell judges about Mr. Page’s history of talking to the C.I.A. about his interactions with Russian intelligence officials, a fact that might have made him look less suspicious. The report suggested that Mr. Clinesmith’s move prevented a colleague from recognizing the problem.

At the hearing on Wednesday, which was conducted by videoconference and telephone because of the coronavirus pandemic, Mr. Clinesmith acknowledged that his action met the criteria for an illegal false statement because the original text did not contain the phrase that he added about Mr. Page — “and not a ‘source’” — but also said he believed then that it was true that Mr. Page was not a C.I.A. source.

Robert Barnes thinks this is just a cover up, and I'm inclined to agree. I think if they don't take down the likes of Peter Strzok, it's not going to look like anything significant was accomplished, because obviously it wasn't just Clinesmith by a long shot.

Viva and Barnes do a livestream every Sunday. It's very interesting.

I thought you were above pictorial ethno-racial tropes and demonization. I guess I was wrong. President Trump is not the friend of Russia I'm thinking, closer to an enemy given recent efforts such as in Syria and in Eastern Europe to bring more American troops closer to Russia's frontiers. But hang on to that delusion, because it's part of what's going to see the man re-elected. Good work.

With regard to the Trump sex tapes.

Don't think I was being homophobic when I said, "Fucking big boys or being fucked by a big boy... would be a problem too (One doesn't want to frighten the horses)". As far as I am concerned anything that's lawful and consensual is fine by me.

It's just I don't think sodomy would play well with his evangelical base.

The Russian group that interfered in the 2016 presidential election is at it again, using a network of fake accounts and a website set up to look like a left-wing news site, Facebook and Twitter said on Tuesday.

The disinformation campaign by the Kremlin-backed group, known as the Internet Research Agency, is the first public evidence that the agency is trying to repeat its efforts from four years ago and push voters away from the Democratic presidential candidate, Joseph R. Biden Jr., to help President Trump.

Facebook and Twitter, which were slow to react to wide-ranging disinformation campaigns on their services in 2016 and continue to face criticism — even from their own employees — that they are not doing enough to confront the issue, said they were warned by the Federal Bureau of Investigation about the Russian effort.

Now Facebook and Twitter are offering evidence of this meddling, even as the White House in recent weeks has sought to more tightly control the flow of information about foreign threats to November’s election and downplay Russian interference.

The Department of Homeland Security has declined to publish a July 9 intelligence document that warns of Russian attempts to denigrate Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s mental health, prompting new scrutiny of political influence at the department. Officials from the Office of Intelligence and Analysis briefed Chad F. Wolf, the acting secretary of Homeland Security, on the document sometime this summer, the department said in a statement.

“They’re hard at work on rewriting that report, putting it in better context,” Mr. Wolf said. “I hope to see that record out soon.” (AND …. the cow jumped over the moon …. )

The department appears to have inconsistent standards of caution for its intelligence briefings. Intelligence officers wrote that they had “high confidence” in their assessment of Russian election interference, yet its publication was blocked. But on July 16, the department’s intelligence office broadly disseminated a bulletin on “anarchist extremists” committing violence in the Pacific Northwest, although in that case, officials admitted they had “low confidence” in their historical assessment.

Should we rename Homeland Security to Department of Alternative Facts or Office to Reelect the President? There is clearly a political agenda going on in an essential agency where information they acknowledge as solid is squashed. When the politicization of intelligence becomes complete, there is no intelligence community anymore - it becomes propaganda, part of a secret police, or dare I say, a deep state.

In spite of the trump Conned Ones efforts at sneering and pretending Russiagate was a closed issue, as Shakespeare so succinctly noted, "The truth will out." Poor Donald is reaping what he has sowed.

A former senior F.B.I. agent at the center of the investigations into Hillary Clinton’s email server and the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia defends the handling of the inquiries and declares President Trump a national security threat in a new memoir, while admitting that the bureau made mistakes that upended the 2016 presidential election. The former agent, Peter Strzok, who was removed from the special counsel’s team and later fired over disparaging texts he sent about Mr. Trump, has mostly kept silent as the president and his supporters have vilified him.

In a scathing appraisal, Mr. Strzok concludes that Mr. Trump is hopelessly corrupt and a national security threat. The investigations that Mr. Strzok oversaw showed the president’s “willingness to accept political assistance from an opponent like Russia — and, it follows, his willingness to subvert everything America stands for.”

“The reporting about my texts hadn’t only whipped Trump into a frenzy,” Mr. Strzok writes. “It had also sent Republicans in Congress into a righteous peeve, giving them fodder for right-wing indignation that would eventually ferment into the deep-state fairy tale that would consume conservative media.” The F.B.I. was “investigating a credible allegation of foreign intelligence activity to see where it led,” Mr. Strzok writes. “It started with Russia, and it was always about Russia. And on top of it all, at the pinnacle of this heap of perfidy and treachery, sat a president who had lied to the public, cozied up to Russia, and, once he became aware of them, attempted to block our investigation at every turn,” Mr. Strzok writes. When he was fired, Mr. Strzok writes, “After a quarter of a century in pursuit of the nation’s enemies, I had been deemed an enemy myself.”

Really jimjam? You're going to cite Peter Strzok as though he had any credibility left whatsoever?

It started with Hillary Clinton, ran through Perkins Coie, managed by Fusion GPS, created by Christopher Steele, fed to the press by Christopher Steele, fed to the FBI by Christopher Steele and Nellie Orr of Fusion GPS, whose husband, Bruce Orr, worked for the FBI, was further fed to the CIA, and neoconservatives like John McCain, et. al. Strzok wants to talk about a heap of perfidy and treachery, and yet members of Congress, not the FBI, CIA or journalists are the ones who figured this whole scheme out?

Trump won, because people suspected that people like Strzok are morally and professionally unfit for the positions they hold in our government and society. He is only confirming that belief with outbursts like this.
