I think Elizabeth Warren could have won. She had zero baggage, got away with standing up to Mr Trump, and seemed to inspire people. These are all important points. Trump may have rolled over Democratic candidates the way he did the other 16 GOP contenders. Hillary was so self controlled she lost her ability to inspire people the way Mr Saunders did. And she's far more financially savvy. Free education would be a dream, but our kids pay a modest fee, usually less than $5,000 per annum and that sound about right, esp if you couple it with a jobs training programme. With a national debt of $17 to $20 Trillion, the cost to the taxpayer is too high on the Saunders plan.
