Over the past year, the Trump movement's rise at the expense of conventional conservatism has created a strange emergence where nasty manners, egalitarianism, and corruption of the rule of law has become prominent in the Republican Party. In decades past, it was something that was simply there in the background, but now, it's come out to the forefront.

This is an attitude which has been incredibly prominent among Marxists for quite sometime as well due to them treating religion as an opiate of the masses such that any standard of decency is treated as a proxy front for capitalist oppression. Marxists believe the ruling class oppress the working class by manipulating the rule of law on a selective basis towards their self-interests, but now, we see the Trump movement sarcastically appealing to the rule of law while telling those who are victimized to deal with it because they can still make something of themselves. If they don't, then they're treated as useless in not contributing to society.

We see this especially in the GOP's criticism of the elite which is just like how Marxists reject the ambitious pursuit of excellence, expecting those who excel to share what they work for among others or else it's forcefully taken from them. This shouldn't be much of a surprise though since Republicans focus so much on rugged individualism that supports folk community common sense. The only real difference between the two groups is semantics.

These people might claim to oppose communism, socialism, radicalism, etc. and might even claim their opponents are these people, but if anything, these people are practicing what they preach in refusing to be dogmatists. They don't care about words having reliable internal meaning. Instead, they're situationally applying the definition of words to whatever works in expressing what they want.
