My point remains.

The Whitehouse is his home is it not?

He's technically working from home.

LBJ never slept either...

Trump would get crucified if he did half the things Johnson did.

A true pro-capitalist ideologue and master persuader. Trump and his actions may seem illogical and sometimes even bizarre to some, even supporters, but the guy knows Neuro-Linguistic Programming like nobody i've ever seen, and i've been in sales and marketing for decades.

Nothing personal or political about it, just objective assessment of various professional cues.

In fairness to colliric, whenever I "work from home", I also sit around in my underwear and watch Netflix. But at least I have the decency not to pretend I am singlehandedly steering the destiny of a continent-sized country while I do it.

Oh, you’re talking about Trump. Good point. Businessmen do have a knack for conning people.

Calling what Trump has been doing a ''con'' isn't exactly accurate. The guy isn't some nihilistic huckster or a mere flim-flam artist or grifter, but as I have said before, an ideologue, a committed one at that.

He's no official Objectivist, like Ayn Rand herself something of a maverick, but from what I've seen, he's been mapping his whole life for decades on becoming President.

I was just talking about this with a guy with 4 kids who is making $8 @hr at our local Crud Burger outlet. He's ecstatic.

I had to smile when I saw you and Hindsite engaged. I could not imagine two more different people. Hindsite is the quintessential representative of Donald's 33% "base". Uncomfortable with any reality other than the simple easy to understand black or white liberal/conservative dichotomy. Grey areas requiring any degree of critical thinking are anathema to them. Get with the program Tainari. You obviously hold views that differ from Hindsite's views .............. ergo .............. you are a "liberal". It is that simple. The Trump of Division Hallelujah

It's deeply amusing that when the stock market performed consistently well under Obama, it was simply proof that the stock market was overvalued and not connected to economic reality (which, funnily enough, was probably true). Republicans insisted loudly that the real economy was going to Hell, and it would all collapse into the stone age any day now. But then, as if by magic, Trump got elected. Suddenly all of the structural problems that the Republicans accidentally identified disappeared, although no one can point to a single thing Trump did to get rid of them besides tweeting JOBS JOBS JOBS #MAGA. The stock market's going up under their guy, so surely it must be real this time.

As with most things related to The Donald, if you'll believe that, you'll believe anything.

Please tell me in what ways Trump has done anything to boost the market, aside from rubberstamping anything the GOP puts in front of him.

Trump doesn't even know what the stock market is and, in his smooth dementia addled brain, thinks that the total capitalization of the market offsets national debt. Which is just hilariously wrong on multiple levels, both in terms of finance and how government debt works.

He has basically ceded all legislative planning to others and then steps in to take credit for things he doesn't even understand.

And you love him for it, because you're as ignorant as he is. Also, I'm going to guess only one of us here is actually invested and benefiting from the Heritage Foundation's wet dream of a tax bill.

Yeah the guy who kept confusing Medicare and Medicaid is a committed ideologue who plans far in advance and has clear policy ideas. Lmfao

Annatar, I have some timeshares to sell you.

Apparently, President Trump has timeshares to sell you, because you misread his total flippant disinterest with what Medicare and Medicaid are with 'confusion'. What's to plan? He's going to axe it all, the social entitlement programs and much else, as quickly as he can in a pragmatic but ruthless manner. That's his 'clear policy ideas'. Liberals can't seem to think like the Old Left and the true Right can, outside the Neo-Liberal Socio-Economic paradigm, satisfied as the Faux Liberal Left is with ''identity politics'' and not with actual change of the Capitalist System. The real fight of the present and future is between Socialism and Objectivism (what I call; ''the true Right'').

He acts as he does because of his contempt for what he's see as ''Statism''. He's in charge of the Government, to largely dismantle much of it for good.

White women 52% voted for Trump. They say the reasons. These people are working class largely. How they equate a rich, narcissistic failed businessman as the answer to their woes? All it proves to me is that working class both men and women and middle class people too, they don't have an idea about class identification and knowing who is from your socioeconomic class and who is not. It is political science illiteracy.

I really wish the "Trump is playing 10-dimensional chess" meme would die. Sometimes a woefully unqualified joke of a president, really is a woefully unqualified joke of a president.

The real ideologues in the current government can be found in the House and the Senate. Everything you just described as Trump's ideology applies much more accurately to Paul Ryan and the Tea Party. Ryan's been itching to cut taxes for the hyper-wealthy and gut Medicaid for years.

It doesn't take a genius to carry out a program. But I find it curious the 'meme' put out by the Liberals that to be smart means necessarily to be, well, a Liberal, self-reinforcing bias and delusion. Suits me just fine, I'm not for him or for Liberalism...

And despite the Kubuki theatre from Trump and the GOP leadership, they suit each other just fine ideologically, although they are a tad more inconsistent and frankly, cowardly. If people can't see Trump for who and what he is, It doesn't bother me. Trump is the Icebreaker of the Revolution.

<Trump says something stupidly wrong and made up>

<Trump supporters say that he is such a genius that he's operating on a different spacial dimension that we can not comprehend and we're playing into his hands>

I don't think there is literally anything Trump could do wrong to these people. Even when he is demonstrably, horribly wrong, he's right in whatever fantasy realm that 10d chess is happening on. Or it is a liberal agenda. Usually both.

Watch, it is funny. Trump's inauguration audience was much smaller than Obama's.

Trump is such a political mastermind that he allows journalists to roam the White House completely unsupervised because nobody in his shit show of an organization knows what’s going on or has the wherewithal to ask simple questions like, “Who are you? What are you doing here?”

Wolff could have done, and probably did, most of his 'work' from home... Trump doesn't have to be brilliant, he only has to be more brilliant than his room-temperature IQ opponents, of which there are plenty. American politicians have become lazy and stupid, used to the rigged game of the Capitalist Neo-Liberal world order, being the ''Masters of the Universe''. I'm not a supporter, I'm an observer. Trump will go on to a second term, and people will be as shocked as the first time, still not figuring out how he did it. Mark my words. Nobody believed me when he first entered the race for President and I said he would win. People just don't get why.

Lol take this hackneyed garbage back to r/the_donald bro.

''Hackneyed''? Lol, I get Donald Trump, most real Socialists and Communists and the Elites for sure do. Late stage Capitalism requires such men as Trump, Duterte, Erdogan, Prince Salman, and others. It was quite inevitable.

As I understand it, Steve Bannon was the one that approved his entrance. Wolff said himself that he lied to get access and the story. Apparently his story is full of lies, too.
