Lol

CNN is lying.

Won't link to their report. But it a hilarious read. "About Everything" means "About Russia" to CNN.

Here is their second less obviously biased report on it in which they basically backtracked their first report:
https://edition.cnn.com/2018/02/07/poli ... index.html

The first one has the headline "Right-wing media obsesses over FBI text message story; hours later it's debunked" which is a totally biased typical CNN lie. It's such a badly written report it should embarrass them.... Lol.

blackjack21 wrote: Where the law breaking takes place is that the FBI used the dossier in a FISA application when they knew it was unveried and likely materially false, withheld the fact that it was a Hillary Clinton campaign product, used news stories manufactured by Hillary Clinton's contractors--Fusion GPS directed Steele to meet off the record with the press--to corroborate the memo, and did not further inform the FISC or Congress when they learned that the sources in the news stories was the very Clinton campaign operative that wrote the dossier.

It's not so far fetched when you consider the FBI has a long history of criminal interference in the political process at the highest levels -

"the deliberate, systematic, and illegal misuse of the FBI and the CIA by the White House in a presidential campaign"
The massive black-bag operations, bordering on the unconstitutional and therefore calling for impeachment, were personally approved by the president. They included planting a CIA spy in his opponent's campaign committee, wiretaps on his opponent's top political aides, illegal FBI checks, and the bugging of his opponent's campaign airplane.

The president? Lyndon B. Johnson. The target? Senator Barry Goldwater of Arizona, the 1964 Republican presidential candidate.

Most disturbing of all was the FBI's bugging of the Goldwater campaign plane where the senator and his inner circle often made their most confidential decisions. The bureau's illegal surveillance was confirmed by Robert Mardian, when he was an assistant attorney general in Nixon's first term.

During a two-hour conversation with J. Edgar Hoover in early 1971, Mardian asked about the procedures of electronic surveillance. To Mardian's amazement, Hoover revealed that in 1964 the FBI, on orders from the Oval Office, had bugged the Goldwater plane. Asked to explain the blatantly illegal action, Hoover said, "You do what the president of the United States orders you to do." William C. Sullivan, the bureau's number two man, confirmed to Mardian the spying operation against the Goldwater campaign.

“The moment [Hoover] would get something on a senator,” said William Sullivan, who became the number three official in the bureau under Hoover, “he’d send one of the errand boys up and advise the senator that ‘we’re in the course of an investigation, and we by chance happened to come up with this data on your daughter. But we wanted you to know this. We realize you’d want to know it.’ Well, Jesus, what does that tell the senator? From that time on, the senator’s right in his pocket.”

Lawrence J. Heim, who was in the Crime Records Division, confirmed to me that the bureau sent agents to tell members of Congress that Hoover had picked up derogatory information on them.

“He [Hoover] would send someone over on a very confidential basis,” Heim said. As an example, if the Metropolitan Police in Washington had picked up evidence of homosexuality, “he [Hoover] would have him say, ‘This activity is known by the Metropolitan Police Department and some of our informants, and it is in your best interests to know this.’ But nobody has ever claimed to have been blackmailed. You can deduce what you want from that.”

According to author Evan Thomas, Attorney General Robert Kennedy, President Kennedy's younger brother, was able to arrange a deal with J. Edgar Hoover to quell mention of the Rometsch allegations in the Senate investigation of Bobby Baker. Hoover successfully limited the Senate investigation of Baker by threatening to release embarrassing information about senators contained in FBI files. In exchange for this favor, Robert Kennedy assured Hoover that his job as FBI Director was secure. Robert Kennedy also agreed to allow the FBI to proceed with wiretaps that Hoover had requested on Martin Luther King to try to prove King's close confidants and advisers were communists.[11]

Also, Uranium One informant has been testifying today.

Uh oh, Obama is now in on the collusion to wire tape the Trump campaign, just like Trump has suspected months ago.
This looks like it is going to be a big story, like Watergate.

California man pleads guilty in Russia probe.

A California man has pleaded guilty to unwittingly selling bank accounts to Russians meddling in the US elections.

Thirteen Russians and three Russian companies were charged Friday with a plot to interfere in the 2016 U.S. presidential election through social media propaganda.

The indictment says the Internet Research Agency, a Russian troll farm, started interfering as early as 2014 in U.S. politics, extending to the 2016 presidential election.

The indictment says the agency was funded by Yevgeny Prigozhin, a St. Petersburg businessman dubbed "Putin's chef" because his restaurants and catering businesses once hosted the Kremlin leader's dinners with foreign dignitaries.

he president tweeted Friday that the indictment shows, "The Trump campaign did nothing wrong - no collusion!"

There are many things I disagree with @blackjack21 on but he has maintained some kind consistent ideology over the years. I'm sorry but Rei's views had become a joke. A Showa Lesbian who became a Hilary supporter, just before Hilary lost, to the reality tv troll, who had entered the Republican primary as a spoiler for Hilary. You couldn't make it up. Trump's victory was the ultimate humiliation.

No the Empress is not wearing any clothes. She needs to keep her visits here short, in case people notice.

My latest deep think is, if the Democrats really are avoiding discussing serious issues so that they can create plausible deniability on the Trump wiretaps re: Russia, maybe the Republicans are fine with this and want to stretch it out.

Think about it, Nixon and Clinton didn't do lasting damage to either party. And the Dems will fight tooth and nail over this but imagine, what if, they are still claiming Russian collusion in 2023? It's not impossible because they're setting the stage to claim Russian collusion in the midterms already and could do it again in 2020. In exchange for protecting Femocrat leadership that might give Republimens two consecutive presidencies. That would probably be worth more than locking them up would be.
