One certainly cannot fault President Donald Trump. One of the campaign slogans, chanted by admiring crowds during the run-up to the election, was, 'Drain the swamp!'

President Trump's not only draining it*, but he's proved to be the complete package. He brought his own swamp right along with him.

* We're at 37 people and counting. The rate's greater at times than that of his TV show, which perhaps serves him as a model.

From everything I've read, the campaign was all over the place, and it seems like this administration has not been good at vettting and everything either.

It probably won't hurt Trump politically though. The Democrats might be able to make a better play on suburban moms they lost last time around for this year, but a wife-beater or two isn't going to change much for the election next time.

Of course, none of this is proven. It is merely alleged. It may be true, and it may not be true. That's not why the allegations were made. The media is trying to get rid of John Kelly, because the White House exhibits considerably more discipline with him as chief of staff.

After 100 years of allowing women to vote, it seems like the experiment has been a failure. Women still presume people guilty until they are proven innocent, showing that they are basically un-American in their basic judicial philosophy.

Morning Joe and MSNBC have hit a new low with their hypocrisy. They act like they are perfect and have never done anything wrong in their lives. As far as Rob Porter goes, even one of his wives stated that she believed he was very talented and probably did do a good job while in the WH. In fact, Porter did have a great job resume and he apparently lived up to that potential. Since he was not married at the time, his family life would not be considered as an issue at the time he was hired.

Now that more convincing details of his past domestic violence are known, he is no longer at the WH. That should be the end of it, but no, the liberal media have to make a mountain out of a mole hill and yet ignore the mountain of corruption on the Democrat side.

It seems that now women are saying we should believe them regardless if they are telling the truth or not. Are they serious?

As I understand it, Kelly was told what the hold-up was and that the FBI were still investigating the allegations and that Porter had denied the truth of the allegations. So since Porter was doing an outstanding job, he decided to wait it out. As far as I know, the military does not give temporary security clearances, but apparently that is not the case for civilian political positions, because the President is automatically cleared by being elected by the people.
