none. It is not in my nature to chase money for it's own sake. It is obvious that without money in this culture one would be in quite bad straights. Knowing this, I arrived at a money strategy a long time ago where I would save up enough assets to provide a good standard of living until I dropped dead. The assets would be as much as possible under my direct control. No credit default swaps for me  . At that point I would lose all interest in money beyond playing defense and maintenance. Money, imo, is the most addictive drug of all.

I know you think the current economic uncertainty is caused by Trump's enemies. I do not doubt this. However, I believe your unwavering support of your knight in not so shining armor may be distorting your analysis. There are other and bigger wheels turning here. Wheels that would be turning whoever the potus was. Donald is simply tossing fuel onto the fire in an effort to create a short term economic burst that makes him look good. Unfortunately for him, and more importantly the nation, the burst was shorter than he had estimated ….. if, indeed, he is capable of such deep thinking.

Deep thinking is usually identified by our inability to understand it. The fact Trump doesn’t think the way you want him to proves nothing.

Well, how would he be able to control which doctor signs up under which plan? He cannot be the traffic controller for that. He felt like people should keep their doctor, but sadly the final result was not up to him. My mom ended up choosing a orthopedic doctor, funny enough. Luckily she never had to see him for a serious health issue. I am so glad that she runs and stays active, she is my hero! She is very healthy!

With stocks extending their slide Monday, President Trump took another swipe at the Federal Reserve, writing on Twitter that the “only problem our economy has is the Fed” as he continued to blame the central bank for recent volatility in the financial markets.

Really. How about the tariffs imposed without thought of consequences? Government shut down because of temper tantrum over wall that Mexico is not paying for? Complete disfunction in the White House? Twitter comments about firing the chairman of the Federal Reserve? A ballooning federal deficit because of tax cuts that did not pay for themselves? A correction in the market was over due. Hopefully this inept administration won't make it worse.

"But the reason our stock market is so successful is because of me." D.Trump :hmm: :?:

According to The Washington Post’s latest tally, Trump has made 7,546 false or misleading claims, an average of five a day, through Dec. 20, the 700th day of his term in office. And all that was supposedly before “we let Trump be Trump.”

If America starts to behave as a selfish, shameless, lying grifter like Trump, you simply cannot imagine how unstable — how disruptive — world markets and geopolitics may become.

We cannot afford to find out.

Agreed

Let me fix that for you. You used too many words.

Disagree. He thinks. I don't care for his thinking, but he thinks.

Obama told those lies to make his Obamacare seem good for all people to get his Obamacare passed. That is the way most politicians are. I am glad that it turned out good for your mother, but it certainly was not good for many other people that called for it to be repelled and replaced.

Trump did not become a multi-billionaire by using dumb economics. This Obamacare is dumb economics for it has greatly increased our national debt, because the Democrats know it would be bad politics to immediately force the taxpayers to pay for it all now.

No. His father made him rich by illegally paying him since he was 2 years old, giving him money in casino ships and building him an empire that he basically inherited. Also, we have no idea if Trump is actually rich or just massively in debt and pretending to be rich.
We are just a few months away from finding out why DT is so scared of showing his taxes. Does it show how stupid broke he is? or perhaps instead it shows why he keeps fellating Putin and the Saudi.
I would like to see what is going to be Retardican's excuse once they find out that they put a fake billionaire that lost a massive fortune that his father left him to control the government that is already showing signs of weakening economy. The facepalm will be so hard that it will break the sound barrier and crack the planet in half.

If Trump is massively in debt, then it would be dumb economics to give away his presidential salary like he does. However, I believe he is most likely very wealthy and doesn't need that salary.

 If Trump is massively in debt, then $400k a year is hardly going to be a drop in the bucket. Your argument is pathetic.

Trump also does it for show and impress people, and show what a bigshot he is. It's linked to his narcissism, not philanthropy(which I doubt he could spell).

Whose to prove he gave it away? Did he do that thru his fake charity?

Every quarter President Trump donates his salary and it is announced on TV News.
The following are some examples:

(3 Apr 2017) President Donald Trump is donating the first three months of his salary to the National Park Service.
White House press secretary Sean Spicer handed an oversized check for $78,333.32 to Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke during Monday's briefing.

Thanks.

He became rich because he relied heavily on the knowledge of the little people who he hires to do all the work. He does very little and so he is so very fat, does not have to lift a finger. I bet he even pays someone to type his stupid twitter posts.

@One Degree  You are not listening to what people are saying. Trump is making the markets volatile.

Volatile
liable to change rapidly and unpredictably, especially for the worse.

That is not good for any economy. Of course, I doubt you'll listen, since you're a Trump fan-boy cultist, in the extreme.

Investors make the markets volatile, often deliberately. It has been a problem since their inception.

Way to oversimplify, man. @Godstud is right, you do not understand the stock market. The market is volatile because investors are uncertain, consumer spending could go down at any time, oil prices are going down but could increase in the future...so much uncertainty exists that creates the volatility.

You guys keep thinking there are not people and investment groups to create this volatility for their own profits. You are just stating the public position you are suppose to believe. The truth is most investors follow the lead of a few. Those few can control what happens. This manipulation is a known fact and is why there are laws attempting to control it. The very existence of the laws is proof of the possibility.
