Ontario election: Cheap beer and tax cuts win it for Doug Ford
A few days ago, in Canada's most populated province, Doug Ford (the crackhead Toronto mayor's brother) was elected to the role of Premier (governor).
His main campaign promises were to "send a message to the politicians," along with "cheap beer" and "cheap gas."
Ontario is often called Canada's most American province, but here, I think they've out-done themselves. I wouldn't be surprised to see people wearing "Make Toronto Boring Again" hats.
Sometimes, the pathetic stupidity of American (non) culture is best seen through looking at cheap imitations.
