One victim and suspect dead, 13 injured in Toronto shooting: police
Shooting on Toronto streets leaves 13 injured, 2 dead
It's unclear how many shots were fired, but a person in the neighborhood posted a video on Twitter in which at least five shots can be heard. The user tweeted, "So scary!! The gun violence in Toronto is crazy."

What is it that makes Canadians so violent and inclined to mass killing?

Could it be that Canada's dumb gun control laws are causing a spike in crime?

Toronto Gun Crime SKYROCKETS! – But What About Gun Control? (Video)
Josh Sigurdson does another Freedom Minute update, this time reporting on the heightened gun crime and overall violent crime in Toronto as the city had seen gun violence in its downtown neighbourhood rise 167% so far in 2018.

In 12 days, there were 5 homicides from gun violence and in May alone, there were 52 shootings in the city.

Despite the heavy gun control in Canada
which everyone always pipes on about, violence continues to rise.

Maybe that is why ?

That could be it. We'll have to see how the story develops. The danger is that Canada holds itself out as an example to the world. This could lead to copy-cat shootings.

Crime in Toronto has been relatively low in comparison to other major cities. A 2017 ranking of 60 cities by The Economist ranked Torontoas the fourth safest major city in the world, and the safest major city in North America.[1][2]

For comparisons to various cities in North America, in 2012 for example, the homicide rate for the city of Toronto was 2.0 per 100,000 people,[3] yet for Atlanta (19.0), Chicago (18.5), Boston (9.0), San Francisco (8.6), New York City (5.1), and San Jose (4.6) it was higher, while it was significantly lower in Vancouver (1.2).

It took me less than 2 minutes to disprove you yet again.

It took you two minutes to find some "Canada is Valhalla" storyline and paste it. That's not what people who aren't deluded by Canadian propaganda are hearing.

Rattled by string of violent attacks, Toronto wonders if city is unraveling

Authorities have not yet publicly speculated on the motive of the gunman, Faisal Hussain, or explained how he obtained the handgun used in the attack.

Like we certainly don't want to come to conclusion that white boys with a criminal records committing mass shooters were terrorists or white supremacists.

This isn't propagands, dear. It's stats. It's empirical. It was compiled by The Economist, a British corporation.

It might be. Some city, some where has one every 10 to 12 years or so. AmericanS think two victims is insufficient for the label of "mass murder", and they have mass murders all the bloody time.

Edit Don't know why you're quoted twice.

Toronto is know as the most American city in Canada. But it's also a city of stunning levels of immigrants.

So to categorize Toronto in a pithy phrase, you could say it's a city of recent immigrants from all over the world living the American dream: obesity, TV addiction, suburban alienation, shoot-outs, car culture, detachment from any kind of community, and a superficial and credulous faith in commercial crap.

Canada also blindly follows the worst American trends. Most of our cities ripped up their tramways in the 50s to "be like the USA" (Toronto didn't, luckily).

But otherwise, Toronto follows all American trends as do most Canadian cities. We'll probably be pitching tents and letting homeless people take dumps on our streets soon, just to be cool.
