Red Army, you asked me;
How is Trump unbeatable? He barely beat Clinton electorally (in an election between the 2 most unpopular candidates in US history) and lost the popular vote.
I have serious doubts about the vote count in blue states. A Clinton machine willing to rig the primaries for Hillary Clinton against Bernie Sanders was also quite willing to engage in voter fraud in the general election.
I bet he wins reelection because the dems are dipshits,
I don't underestimate them, but the long term prognosis for them is poor, as befits a liberal bourgeoisie party. When the dust settles years from now, the choice will be clear; Anarcho-Capitalism or Communism.
but he's lucky, not a genius.
Wasn't it Tolstoy who said that genius was more luck and other factors than some internal special gift? I'd say genius is being able to recognize and use one's luck and circumstances....But something more.
But no, really, President Trump is a genius, just not likeable to many people and likeable to millions too. We often have the tendency to denigrate the intelligence and willpower of people we dislike or disagree with. But that's a path to disaster, thinking like that. What he's doing is genius, once you've got his ideology nailed down.
Misty Tiger, you said;
I meant no disrespect.
I understand, no problem.
However, Trump is very superficial. He surrounds himself with models and women with loads of plastic surgery. Even Melania has had some work done on her face, when she looked fine without the filler in her cheeks.
President Trump is unfortunately not ''very superficial''. I'd be less disturbed by him if he was. What Trump is is a very canny booster of his ''brand'', which is himself and his image and that of the people in relation to him. It's actually a very sophisticated marketing campaign. He is not what you see, but what you see is all you will ever be allowed to see...
And Trump is an egotistical pig.
''egotistical'', yes, like Napoleon and Mussolini, supreme egotists. But not like Hitler, who was a malignant narcissist. There is a distinction, I think a very important one. As far as him being a ''pig'', I think that my ideas on that probably differ from either yours or Mr. Trump's but there you go.
I just can't understand how anyone would want to live with him.
Why anyone lives with anybody else is mysterious enough for me that I try not to judge that aspect of it, so that includes Trump's life. We are all alone in certain respects, just us and God, and even the wealthy like Trump can't pay their way out of that universal condition.
