Everyone is depicted in their younger days before they added weight. I doubt the artist felt showing them at their eldest would be very flattering.

That is minor compared to the scandals around many of our Presidents. The people willing to be President are often those prone to indiscretions their opinions of themselves justify. Plus their opponents and the public can’t resist finding or inventing scandals. This is why I find the attacks on Trump’s character silly. What kind of person do you think wants the office?
