House lawmakers don't plan to vote this week to end the government shutdown.

That's according to the office of Republican Whip Steve "No Dick" Scalise, who announced the schedule Thursday.

Scalise's office says lawmakers are waiting on the Senate. But the Senate already approved a bill to keep government running. The House panned that measure and approved a new version that included money for President Donald Trump's border wall.

They are at a stalemate.

With an incoming Democrat House and no further votes planned for the current Congressional term the wall is permanently dead. It will never be built, in spite of the high pitched braying of the sociopathic morons who want it. Soros' plans to replace all white people with superior South American immigrants will go on, unimpeded, and white genocide remains the order of the day.

I have copied some pictures below which I hope will help us all overcome the tragic death of the wall (2016-2018).

Canadian news recently has been full of images of migrants trudging across snow-covered fields and through icy ditches, hauling small children and suitcases as they cross into Quebec, Manitoba and other provinces from U.S. border states. The phenomenon has gained momentum since Donald Trump was elected president in November.

That is a positive development. Canada signed the UN migration pact. So we can send our illegal aliens to Canada. Trudeau can meet them wearing a sombrero and serape and playing a vihuela. That would be so cool. 8)

Meaningful [Ed.: Folks have lost track of the compound nature of that word,] discussions about migration into or out of the United States of America are difficult these days. Political polarization has produced a distinct tendency toward can-you-top-this? hyperbole. Sources of reliable information are thin on the ground. This or that group is limned by political ideologues in terms normally relegated to psychiatric descriptions of the criminally insane.

This poor old country mouse quietly goes about seeking out actual facts and forming conclusions. It's generally a waste of time to state them in open forum, as most readers these days simply skim through, seeking a hook on which to hang some discredited or factually-unsupportable talking point.

A Happy New Year to all.

Is THE WALL the only issue currently facing America? Is not the Trump Deficit approaching $1,000,000,000,000 per year a greater danger to the nation than groups of homeless poverty stricken souls fighting for survival south of the border. Total national deficit? $21,000,000,000,000! I know! Another tax cut for billionaires should help. Surely it will trickle down ( ) and help the 70% to 80% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck. or, how about the American Medical Industrial Complex which is designed to suck every last dime out of Americans before they drop dead? Can we maybe spend a few minutes on that one?

Nothing has been done since Eisenhower warned us, and the Liberals still insist upon being stooges for the establishment, so who’s at fault? Democrats had plenty of chances to fight the swamp and never have, but you hate the only President who challenges the swamp.

Spare me the esoteric bullshit about changing out one swamp for a different swamp and please explain to me how a $1,500,000,000,000 reduction of tax income from billionaires and corporations will not increase the deficit and hasten the onset of the mother of all economic cataclysms? Oh wait ….. it's going to trickle down and pay for itself  .

Does 2+2 still equal 4 or, as in Trump Land, does it now equal whatever you want it to equal? ……………… how about a wall around Wichita, Kansas for a few billion. I read on the internet that an illegal piece of scum punched a cop in the nose there and, quite frankly, I am scared.

It resulted in increased employment which results in increased tax revenue from both businesses and employees. Admittedly, many of the corporations were too greedy to do the right thing but that too is due to the globalism pushed by liberals. Eisenhower (Populist Republican) warned us and now Trump (Populist Republican) warns us and you still think the Democrats are the good guys.

You can stick with the Republican "trickle down" shit (my plumber tells me that there is only one thing that trickles down  ) i'll take F.D.R.'s Social security check and L.B.J.'s medical insurance. If you don't like what the Democrats do, please refund your monthly Social Security check and pay full retail to the Medical Industrial Complex. Yes, I know. You paid for it. You are also paying interest on the Trump Deficit.

Just because someone plays bad poker doesn’t mean I shouldn’t take their money. I strongly encourage everyone to apply for all government programs available so it becomes apparent we can’t afford them.

Talk is cheap. If it wasn't for Democrats and dirty dirty liberals you would have gone bankrupt long ago waiting for a tsunami of Republican wealth emanating from good hearted plutocrats  Put your money where your mouth is or you are a socialist  .

I don’t mind being a socialist, just not an international socialist. I never applied for a job until my late 50’s so Capitalism worked for me too. Both systems can work if all the people accept it and they are not subverting one another. It’s just they all become more corrupt on a large scale. The real problem is centralized control and that is what Democrats and swamp Republicans support. Trump does not, which is all that matters to me. The Republicans supposedly support decentralization.

Reagan and Bush Sr promised it would trickle down, but it ended up with the Savings and Loan crisis in 1989:
Widespread corruption and other factors led to the insolvency of the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corp., the $124 billion bailout of junk bond investments and the liquidation of more than 700 S&Ls by the Resolution Trust Corporation.

The S&L Crisis is arguably the most catastrophic collapse of the banking industry since the Great Depression. Across the United States, more than 1,000 S&Ls had failed by 1989 essentially ending one of the most secure sources of home mortgages.

Bush Jr used the same model and got the same result: a financial disaster and, not junk bonds but people's homes.

Now you've got Trump with his tax cuts for the wealthy and more chatter of trickle downhoodery. AnD Republicans are expecting what to happen? Lather, Rince, Repeat

Yeah lets assume what one degree said meant anything. I don't, I don't know why other people do.

You engage in long conversations with him over all kinds of issues so unless you like engaging in displays of onanistic logorrhea (and perhaps you do...), you must give his posts some degree of meaning, at least one degree ;) .

I suspect that you enjoy having a ''foil'' to these kinds of posts, I don't, and I don't know why other people do.... :)
