You're a little slow on the uptake aren't you? Who was the first person on PoFo cheering her on to beat the #2 guy in the Democratic party leadership? If you guessed blackjack21, maybe you're not that slow. I like the disruption Ocasio-Cortez offers, and I wasn't cheering on the establishment in trying to crush her. That does not mean I agree with her policy proposals either. It means disrupting the establishment IS my primary political objective.

Well, she clearly isn't a black Democrat with roots in the Civil Rights struggle of the 1960s and her seat wasn't handed to her by gerrymandering, but rather through immigration transformation. So she is not beholden to the establishment for her electoral success and doesn't seem interested in all of the left's virtue signaling. Omar even criticized Obama for all his drone strikes. I'm so glad Nancy Pelosi won the speakership again. This is not 2006, and she's definitely not having fun this time around. It has to be a miserable job when both John Boehner and Paul Ryan left of their own accord.

It's also interesting how they invented their own version of Nazis that are oddly capitalist, while their antifa movements are socialist--like the real Nazis.
SpecialOlympian wrote:It is so incredibly, desperately sad that all of old dipshit boomer media for people who have a death grip on their Lay-Z-Boy as they wait to die are angry at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Who's angry? I'm also enjoying Pocahontas calling for breaking up Google, Facebook and Amazon. The embrace by corporate leftists of the extreme left is their own demise.
SpecialOlympian wrote:She could literally not be less important in the grand scheme of things, as a single congressional representative in the House, but she must be built up into Godzilla trampling buildings.
The point, SpecialOlympian, is that she is not an establishment picked candidate. AOC, like Trump, does not play by the establishment's rules.
SpecialOlympian wrote:The fact that she is pissing off the worst people to ever exist to the point where America's largest cable news network is reporting on her nonstop is proof that she is good.
It's not proof that she's inherently virtuous anymore than Trump pissing off the establishment is proof that he is virtuous. It's just refreshing to see that the establishment is getting hit from all sides. It's also amusing to watch the establishment now coming up with their equivalent of a phony Russia narrative for AOC.

That's just your hallucinogen-fueled imagination at work.
jimjam wrote:She is brilliant.
Well, that's overstating things a bit. She is certainly bold though. She was, however, smart enough to understand how to manipulate voters who already seem to believe that the government has infinite wealth and can just distribute things to people for free.
jimjam wrote:They are too stupid to see that they are making her a success.
I guess you all missed the fact that the first person to take her seriously on PoFo was me. My point in starting this thread is that AOC--like DONALD J TRUMP--is not of the establishment, and they are trying to quash her. Personally, I do not want her to succeed from a policy perspective on anything. I do want her to succeed in making life for the establishment a living hell.
SpecialOlympian wrote:She's a Dem in a safe district that she won easily despite defeating an incumbent.
Not just any incumbent, but the #2-3 in the Democratic Party leadership in the house. Let's not underestimate her accomplishment.
SpecialOlympian wrote:And everything the right is doing just increases her profile and makes her deep blue seat easier to win.
The right WANTS her to win so they can make HER the face of the Democratic party. Her seat will never go Republican. The fight to watch is primaries, etc. The Democrats play a mean game in the inner cities. I'm sure the Teamsters aren't too happy about Amazon not coming to NYC now.
SpecialOlympian wrote:Like, she's not going to be knocked out of her seat by a radical centrist. The biggest threat to her reelection is the seat she represents being redistricted in the census.
Again, the point of this thread is that there is a collateral attack on her character via an FEC complaint. As you pointed out, it came from an establishment Republican. The fact that he's a Republican is immaterial. The fake Russia hoax started with Jeb Bush; then, it was passed on to Hillary Clinton. The establishment plays across party lines. It's sort of amazing to me that people still don't see this.
SpecialOlympian wrote:But the right needs an enemy.
The right is using AOC as a poster child for what a Democratic majority looks like for them. Bezos et. al. push leftist ideals as an old school "I'm for the working class" trope, blaming white middle class Americans for the struggles of the poor when the problem for the poor is people like Bezos. The reality is that if people like AOC or Pocahontas dominate, that's bad for Bezos et. al.

The average white American has an IQ of 100+, and the average Asian American just a bit higher than that. Generally, their IQs are higher than their age. Are you enjoying creating phony personas to try to trick us with your "reverse psychology"?
