Boy, I wouldn't want to be thinking that as early as 2012 and talking to anyone about that.

Isaiah 45 celebrates Cyrus for freeing a population of Jews who were held captive in Babylon. Cyrus is the model for a nonbeliever appointed by God as a vessel for the purposes of the faithful.
That would explain a lot, because Trump doesn't really seem like a devout Christian; however, he has been better for Christians than most recent presidents.

Being the con artist extraordinaire that he is, it likely took him about 10 seconds to see that he could lock in millions of votes simply by signing a few pee pee shit proclamations, mouthing some "Christian" blather and showing pictures of dead babies in the White House.
...and...Hillary Clinton was what? Too principled to do something like that?
jimjam wrote:"Christians" didn't give a shit if he lied, grabbed pussy's or robbed and cheated. They got their lip service and a few crumbs from the table and declared that God forgave the asshole and worked in strange ways.
Well, there may be more to it than that. Trump doesn't hate them. Hillary and the establishment do hate them. Do you think George F. Will likes evangelical Christians with his bow tie and button down shirts? How about David Brooks and all the "conservatives" who voted for Obama? Hell, even Chris Buckley voted for Obama. They should have seen Trump coming, but they can't seem to avert their eyes away from their own navels long enough. That's what makes them easy to beat, provided you don't put them on a pedestal.

I'm quite perturbed by people who purport to be conservatives and constitutionalists and then agree with the SCOTUS on gay marriage.

Isn't that ever true.
Rich wrote:Yes @Hindsite I can see how some one might argue against the death penalty for homosexuality, Christianity is not Judaism. I could see how a Liberal minded Christian might even support the decriminalisation of homosexuality, but condoning it never. As for supporting Gay marriage, sanctifying such sinful behaviour with the sacred institution of marriage, such hypocrisy beggars belief.
It's the corruption of the court on top of it. Nature creates male and female. Mental illness is not a gender. Justice Kennedy was corrupted.

Indeed. The Sheiks of the U.A.E. seem to have their heads on straight. They even have pink cabs for women with women drivers.

How about some interracial homosexuality?

The weird thing is that Trump wins that one on liberal values, because his relationship was "consensual."

Wow! You said something intelligent! Awesome!
