Trump was warned about the pandemic and a catastrophic loss of life on Jan. 15th, but decided to do nothing so as not to wake the bleating sheep.

So, the Chinese are bad because they detected the virus and acted decisively to contain it; while the Americans are good because they failed to detect the outbreak and failed to contain it.

We live in a topsy turvy world where people have handed over their brain at the entrance.

At least our dear leaders manage to do good for themselves.

According to the report, Trump did not actually learn of the information until late January and immediately banned travel coming in from China. So under the circumstances and the information he has been given, he has been doing a great job.

The Chinese people are not bad as a whole. It is the Chinese Communist Party that rule China that lied to the W.H.O. and tried to keep the virus secret as long as they could that was bad.

So Trump knew about an incoming disease and the best defense of his actions is that he banned travel from China and had no foresight to do anything else. And also in the best possible version of this he's a gullible idiot who got played by the Chins.

Damn thats a strong defense of our president: portraying him as an absent minded old man who let let some teens borrow his check book. We should hate the Chinese for picking on our frail, old helpless president who tries his best but keeps getting fooled by everyone around him.

President Trump did a lot more than just ban travel from China. He created the White House Coronavirus Task Force.

The White House Coronavirus Task Force is a United States Department of State task force that "coordinates and oversees the Administration's efforts to monitor, prevent, contain, and mitigate the spread" of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). It was established on January 29, 2020.

The funny thing is Navarro is a trade advisor. The public health establishment didn't warn anyone, in fact, even into late February/early March top public health officials like Fauci were telling people there was no threat at all and they should mass congregate in Chinatowns across the country and go to the Superbowl. They even told us not to wear masks. Anyone trying to pin this debacle on Trump is a ridiculous little partisan twit that doesn't have their facts straight.

Banning flights from China was blind activism that had no positive effect whatsoever. Italy made the same mistake with the same result.

Genetic sequencing shows that the US imported more of an early version of the virus than Europe. In other words, the virus was imported into the US in early January - long before the flight ban was imposed. Moreover, banning flights from one country while allowing flights from other countries that also have the virus is stupid.

The WHO rightly advised against flight bans because it interrupts the international supply chain, including medical supplies. The Chinese are again doing the right thing by limiting travel to essential travel. Everybody who absolutely wants to travel goes into a 14-day quarantine.

The effect of the travel ban was to satisfy xenophobic sentiments and to create a sense of complacency that allowed the virus to spread out of control in Italy and the US.

That is what has to happen when you replace reason by populist gut feeling as the guiding principle of government. America was screwed the moment it elected an immature man-child into government.

I said it how many posts ago I even posted the videos showing the press and the politicians saying this virus is nothing to worry about from January to early March. This is the new narrative to impeach Trump on just prior to the election. They don't care if it sticks but this is the plan to see if they can damage him enough.

For the time being being the narrative is you should panic and if you talk about anything other than panicking like the economy you are a bad mean rotten person out for blood.

Liberals are in love with this virus its a wet dream for them.

The people of the US are awesome in my town of almost 180,0000 people we have 80 cases of Coronavirus, and we have bankrupted every business and thousands have gave up their jobs complying to orders.

I'm sure they still plan to get their property taxes though.

That doesn't have much to do with what I posted, but ok.

Anyway, yea, we have 690 cases, and our population is just around 2 million.
