I think Bernie Sanders supporters are not liking Biden.

I am thinking of voting on a minority party ticket again. Because Biden is not change. He is not.

I know there are people out there that like @late think any adult will do.

But? i am not one of them. The Biden choice is ABYSMAL.

I don't want to hear about how I got Trump re-elected. The sellout piece of lying shit Democratic party needs to take responsibility for preferring to lose to the Republican Party and Donald Trump rather than do real, authentic change that serves the working class, middle class, and students, young and more left that is real left and not fake left (the real Left voters). Bernie can fold and cave....the demands are still there. This is not about a personality cult-like Trump supporters are about. It is about get the damn platform agenda items done? Or go FUCK OFF!

Here:

Discuss.

I'm a Bernie supporter.

If Bernie supporters want Trump to be re-elected, they won't vote Biden. I'd suggest they vote Biden in that case, unless they like Trump better, which I doubt most do.

The problem with the lesser of two evils voting was discussed in the video.

Biden won't do what needs to get done. No change. I am not a liberal like the center right thinkers in the establishment Democratic party.

Sanders agenda is not the radical socialist agenda. It is a pragmatic already done before Roosevelt reform agenda and Bernie has eluded to this various times.

Sanders cites Swedish, Danish, Fin and French style socialism programs and prescriptions for what ails the USA and he is reasonable in the sense he goes through the conventional channels. Within a ballot box structure.

MLK was a socialist as well. But he did it through a Ghandi style non-violent format.

Malcolm x wanted a change in the rights of Blacks in the USA through any means necessary including armed struggle and leaving the USA like Marcus Garvey proposed long ago.

In the end? if the Domocratic party is not addressing the basic concerns that Sanders' supporters platform people require him to do to gain our votes?

How is Trump going to be worse than Biden? Biden has to prove he is going to spank some banks hard. Warren has that track record. She is not the VP now is she?

Tulsi Gabbard was upright and ethical. She is not part of the establishment. No one that is trustworthy and not a total lying piece of shit flip flopping sellout Democrat is part of that Biden inner circle.

Why should even moderate socialists like Sanders people are and that woman on the video who was part of his group and wasn't a socialist either but wanted the agenda items done? How are they going to get it done backing that liar Biden?

Trump is awful. But Biden is true change? Is he?

HOw IS BIDEN POLICY WISE SUPERIOR TO TRUMP?!

This must be shown with voting records, not lying, not corruption, not pussy grabbing and not being totally conservative in thoughts about everyone. So far? Biden doesn't convince.

If they had chosen Warren? I might have gone for that instead. She at least has a good record in spanking bankers. Biden has ZERO.

Biden isn't a very good progressive candidate at all. The problem with voting for a 3rd party or not at all is that it's a vote for Trump. 3rd parties have been tried before, they all have failed. Ross Perot had an amazing run, he still failed to win.

You can stick by your convictions, or you can be pragmatic. It's up to you.

You are right about a third party but my nation had issues with third parties also not racking enough votes.

But? that is changing.

It might be worth it to go for a third party.

I can't in good conscience vote for Biden. I don't share even a tiny bit of common ground with that man.

He sucks.

I would never vote for Trump. He is a threat to the human race. But if people vote for that fuck to be the president? At this stage of the problems of riots, looting and meltdowns?

If the USA has over a quarter of all eligible voters voting for a racist narcissist? The nation needs to start reflecting on why they keep voting for someone with those issues?

There is something very wrong with the system.

And the racists and self centered assholes are in charge. If that is what the USA produces politically? Time for some karma.

Whether you like it or not, people voted for Biden over Sanders. You might want Sanders, I might want Sanders, but Americans don't. It's not so much the system that's the problem for you, it's the voters themselves. But that's the will of the people.

The Mexicans voted for a socialist. AMLO got on TV and he said, "If the Mexican people don't like how I handled the pandemic? And they knew I am not a capitalist? Go out and tell me and I will step down." The only ones protesting were upper class people in new model vehicles to not get CoronaVirus. The vast majority of the poor in Mexico said, STAY IN OFFICE.

Meanwhile we got the Bunker king hiding from his people that are rioting in the streets and they are not in as bad shape economically as the Mexicans are. But they are pissed at the system.

American voters got to start voting for their CLASS. And stop bullshitting themselves with thoughts of a billionaire swampy racist vulgarian is going to bail them out of having their jobs shipped out to the PRC. They are not even half as intelligent voting as the other nations with less bucks. It is incredible.

So, it's not clear to me at all this is the will of the people. The US has been moving the past few decades towards increasing opaqueness and arbitrariness in the administration of its elections.

The final straw is the near universal use of electronic voting machines, which make use of proprietary software which the manufacturers adamantly refuse to make public for inspection. These companies have direct and indirect financial ties to candidates and parties. They are designed to leave no audit trail. There is literally no way to know if the tabulated vote totals reflect the actual votes of citizens.

All we are left with is forensic analysis of voting totals in relation to exit polls. These results have not been reassuring at all.

Voting for their class? For something like that to happen, the Left has to get started to even think about class. Right now some people in that sector will say that a White boy who lives in a trailer park in West Virginia is more privileged and even oppressing Malia Obama because of gender and race. This would be absurd anywhere but in parts of America, and the irony is that probably it is Trump voters who can realize the absurdity of that :hmm:

Not that I would ever want the American Left to become socialist, and it's not like it's gonna happen. But getting them to think about social class would be quite an improvement not so much because of what you are saying but because ignoring it is also damaging and so is the American obsession with its identity politics.

Also, I think that you are right and indeed many Bernie bros will desert the Democratic Party, quite possibly leading to a Trump reelection. That's my main take of what's going on right now anyway.

Yes skinster, ask your friends to vote for Trump and spread racial tensions, high unemployment and abuse of worker rights along with tax cuts for the top 0.1%

Or stop being salty and vote for Biden for a chance of most of that not happening.

Then there is also a choice of not voting but that is like giving away any of your collective bargaining power and just bowing to other forces. Isn't a bit smarter to sell yourself to Biden for promises of some sort. I know that he is not Bernie but you can extort some left policies out of him for votes in exchange.

What you are saying is that they should vote like normal people do. What they are showing is that it's their way or the highway from now on.

I would rather advice them not to follow that road, the rest of the country will not stand by it and sooner or later there will be a very adverse reaction.

Anyway, my U.S. frands on the left don't plan to vote for a rightwing dementia-riddled pervert like Biden, sorry.

How old are they?
I can understand that if they are 3 or 4. But then, they would not qualify to vote anyways.
Temper tantrums are frequent in toddlers and small children. As we age, they tend to become less and less often. By the time we are in our late teens and early 20, vast majority of people that do not suffer from a mental condition should have outgrown them. There is a reason for that, they don’t fucking work.
Mr Trump is one of those idiots that did not outgrew his temper tantrums. He showed up to the world exactly how a temper tantrum usually pans out. He closed the goverment on a tantrum, the adult told him NO, he cried and bitched for over a month and then he folded like the spoil child that he is.
People got hurt in that tantrum, the US got hurt in that tantrum.
I can sympathize with those that think we should have had a different or even a better president, maybe after a few centuries a female one but we didn’t. I liked Yang but I confess I would have loved Bernie or Warren to win for the exclusive purpose of see him cry when a “communist” kicked his ass but it did not work.
The reality is that the country is not going to snap into a “progressive” european-style liberal country in a snap, it is a process that will take years if not decades. However, every time a crazy idiot like Trump gets elected, our progress gets delayed for a long time.
In the last few years, this idiot has filled the courts with judges whose only requirement for Mitch McMoron is that they are crazy right wing ideologues, that they have a pulse, and that they are likely to keep having a pulse for many decades. One day we might have a AOC-like president that will have to spend his/her presidency fighting up the courts to do small shit rather than focusing on real change.
Don’t be a child, you, your friends or anyone else reading. It might not be your favorite candidate but it could be worse, FAR worse, as it currently is.
No left supporter, no liberal supporter, no aoc supporter, no Bernie supporter can honestly say with a straight face that they would prefer a Trump over a Hillary, a Trump over a Obama or a Trump over a Biden.
Grow up.
