Yes I agree. Most non-assholes (non-GOP lol) want people to have affordable housing and stay out of poverty etc, it's about how to do it. It's like going from one extreme to another.
Another problem is you give away free permanent apartments to everyone who wants one and the 100k people at the border every month becomes 300k. There's 6 billion poor people in the world, you can't save them all.
