More like the Left's interpretation of that law.

Democrats were saying that the U.S. had to take in every migrant that showed up at the border claiming "asylum".
And if the holding facilities became overcrowded, they had to be released into the U.S.

Of course conveniently the Democrats wouldn't appropriate any additional funds to the holding facilities, creating a convenient crisis.

Conservatives have attacked a provision of the new border security bill that would only allow legal challenges to be made in Washington D.C.

The bill would strip the power of Texas and other states to challenge some of the its provisions in their local federal court.
Conservative commentators were quick to denounce the provision, contained on page 221 of the bill.
After outlining the provisions under which immigrants can seek judicial review of a deportation order, the bill states:

"The United States District Court for the District of Columbia shall have sole and original jurisdiction to hear challenges, whether constitutional or otherwise, to the validity of this section or any written policy directive, written policy guideline, written procedure, or the implementation thereof."

If they removed that part of the bill, most Republicans would be willing to support it.

But there are even more reasons for Republicans to oppose the bill:

Not a poison pill. You are over reacting, crying, and exaggerating as they want you to. Fucking babies.

Besides, since when did Republicans care about states rights?

Gov Abbot is a piece of shit anyway. He also uses the border for all sorts of political stunts. Fuck him.

No compromise, is not how the legislative branch should works. Those house republicans need to shut the fuck up and get inline with their senate counterparts. They are hurting America with their bullshit.

Again, greedy entitled pieces of shit.

It wouldn't have been fair (or even very realistic from a business standpoint) for Trump's company to have been the only one to end it.

Yes, this is what Marxists call “class interests”.

Since Trump is part of a certain class, he directly benefits from (and supports) undocumented workers.

Puffer Fish wrote:If Trump didn't want to stop illegal immigration, then why were Democrats fighting with Trump about it?

Trump didn't want to have to take in migrants who just showed up at the border, but the Democrats used legal means to make him.
Do you disagree with that, Pants-of-dog?

What are you talking about? Be clear and specific.

Trump still wants undocumented workers to cross illegally and be here illegally, since he can pay them less that way.

To not pass it? Yes, they do. Because they know how stupid their base is. They need something to continue scaring them for votes.

Even McConnell agrees that putting politics above the American people is in the party's interest.

Selfish, entitled, pieces of shits. All of them. They should be fired for not doing their jobs and not serving Americans. Unfortunately, when you defund education as we have, it means we have a lot of fucking morons that are gullible to fall for these shit head Republicans tactics.

Really? Because I see things just the opposite way.

None of the conservatives in another political forum I read like him.

The Wall Street Journal even has an article titled "Everybody Hates Mitch McConnell".
It almost seems like the Democrats like McConnell more than the Republicans. He's certainly getting a lot of praise from Democrats.

Wow, where's all that coming from? Lots of strong words, but where's the explanation for them?

As I told you, in my opinion I don't think this is just a political stunt, like the media is trying to make it out to be.

It might be 20% that, but there are plenty of valid reasons for Republicans to oppose it. Have you bothered researching the details of the bill or even listen to the conservative side about their reasons for opposing it?

Let's see if the Democrats are willing to pass any compromise bill that comes from the Republicans then.

Let's see, they weren't willing to work with Trump.

It would like a plantation owner during the time of slavery trying to operate their business without using slaves. They likely wouldn't be able to stay in business.

Indeed and this was true at the civilisational scale back in the fifteenth century. Europeans had to copy the Muslims and introduce slavery in order to compete with the international Muslim terror machine. It was also necessary for the Europeans to adopt a modified version of the Muslims skin colour supremacy theory. It was only through slavery that we Europeans were able to free the world.

This also applied to the Protestants when they started settling the Americas in the seventeenth century. Slavery was necessary in order for them to compete with the international Papist terror machine.
