Yasunori Kagoike testified in front of the Japanese parliamentarians and exposed himself as a fraudster. The prime minister's wife's signature was forged and he will be spending a long time in jail for committing perjury. Kagoike is liable to imprisonment for less than fourteen years for perjury and he will also be charged for swindling government subsidies.

The ruling parties are examining the Diet testimony by Yasunori Kagoike of school operator Moritomo Gakuen, with an eye on charging him with perjury if they judge it to be false. Kagoike was summoned to the budget committees of both chambers of the Diet as a sworn witness over the sale of state-owned land.
