The more military bases, the higher the crime rate

However, an increase in the number of military bases abroad does not spare the US military from numerous problems. It is unlikely that new bases will be very different from other American bases in terms of discipline and criminogenic situation.

According to the Korean National Police Agency, American soldiers in South Korea committed 1,455 crimes from 2007 to 2017.
