A spokesman for the Korean Committee on Measures for the Sexual Slavery for Japanese Army and Drafting Victims issued a statement Wednesday over the fact that Prime Minister of Japan Abe recently made offering to Yasukuni Shrine, symbolic of militarism, and 150 dietmen belonging to the "Dietmen's society for visiting the Yasukuni shrine" paid a group visit to it.
The statement branded such deed as a blatant challenge to justice and peace and a sinister political bullying act.
This is a total denial of the blood-stained past and an act that can never be justified with any pretext or excuse as it is revelation of dangerous militarist frenzy to agitate revanchism in the Japanese society and stage reinvasion of Korea and other Asian countries and realize without fail the wild dream of the "Greater East Asia Co-prosperity Sphere", the statement said, adding:
The reactionary ruling quarters and right-wing elements of Japan flocked to the shrine and called back the departed soul of militarism. The aim is to reverse the crime-woven past, instill the frantic "view on Japanese subjects" and militarism into all the Japanese nationals including the new generation and thus hurl them into the path of aggression against humanity.
The Japanese authorities and right-wing reactionaries going against the requirements and trend of the times, far from repenting of the crimes, will never be able to evade divine punishment.
The issue of visit to the shrine is not just an issue related to the freedom of individual or diplomacy among countries but it is a cornerstone distinguishing the stand on war and injustice from that on peace and justice and it is an issue related to the attitude and stand to history.
The Japanese politicians should know well about history before discussing politics and must be sincere before history. They should beg for pardon before the victims in the past and their bereaved families, with their knees knelt down, not visiting the shrine.

The OP's article is taken from a North Korean propaganda site, which may be why it sounds oddly bombastic like a North Korean state news broadcast. The Korean Council for the Women Drafted for Military Sexual Slavery by Japan is a Korean non-governmental organization directly funded by Pyongyang to disseminate North Korean propaganda.

Dozens of Japanese politicians from the far-right group in the Diet pay an annual visit to the shrine in April but Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been shunning the shrine since 2013, fearing that his visit would infuriate China and South Korea. The Japan War-Bereaved Families Association is an influential lobby group, which LDP policitians cannot ignore to secure the senior vote. Ordinary soldiers make up the vast majority of those enshrined and their names are listed in the shrine's registry, which goes back to the 1870s. The criteria for enshrinement at Yasukuni is that a person is also listed in the war dead registry of the Japanese government but war criminals were not originally enshrined. Once war criminals were enshrined together in the 1970s by the shrine as a political statement, Emperor Hirohito refused to visit the shrine from 1978 until his death in 1989, calling the decision "dumb." I think Japanese prime ministers should follow his example. The Japanese royal family has been shunning the shrine for many decades as well. It's unfortunate that Japanese royals have no political power to remove war criminals from the shrine registry because of the pacifist constitution.
