Road tax, ERP, COE, parking fees, fuel/ carbon taxes should be further increased much more.

And motorist who ask PMD (personal mobility devices) to pay road tax are petty, anti-social and inconsiderate.

They don't realize how much inconvenience they have caused pedestrians and PMD users by asking for more expressways, trunk roads and parking spaces.

Already roads take up 12 % of Singapore (residential is only 14% of all space) https://www.straitstimes.com/opinion/the-road-to-a-car-less-singapore .

So many Ah gong and Ah mah and kids get killed daily by reckless, speeding motorist who like to drive fast to frighten pedestrians and PMDs off the streets: they will also suffer the same fate in future/ in old age.

Poor Ah gong/ Ah mah will need lifts to be built at every overhead bridge in order to cross expressway to get to the other side. Many Singaporeans have weak legs because they didn't cycle around or walk enough because streets are not PMD / pedestrian friendly to begin with.

Even PMD delivery men are at a disadvantage because must dismount and push PMD across the bridge.

What happened to Singapore's war against diabetes, why is government discouraging PMD use? Is war against diabetes only lightweight propaganda and mere lip service?

Why don't cars stop at zebra crossings rather than speed towards the stop line to threaten PMD users to dismount or give way to cars? Pedestrians and PMD users ought to be kings of the street (as motorist are Kings of the expressway). Motor vehicles are only for bulky goods and handicapped folks to ride in. As for the very rich, they should hire professional chaffeurs and respect people living on streets. Motor vehicles have already caused pedestrians and PMD enough inconvenience in crossing the expressways. They should be happy with their free flowing expressways and drive slowly, respectfully and keep clear lookout on streets. Maybe the law should be changed so that before a car can cross a zebra crossing, he must 'dismount' and lay safety cones across foot path to prevent approaching pedestrians/ PMD from crossing, then drive across and collect his cones without obstructing any people on the streets in the process of motorist crossing a pedestrian/PMD path. Motorist who wish to enjoy seamless travel on streets should just park outside of town and travel on public transportation and PMD mix:

Places where people work, stay and play should be punctuated by parks and recreational amenities, not smoky, noisy, dirty and dangerous motor vehicle parking spaces.

Half of all streets should be reserved for public service vehicles like fire, police, ambulance and public buses and PMD can safely use these street amenities 24/7 without being endangered by speeding cars (LTA officers will do spot checks and enforcement operations 24/7). Cyclist and motorist can also send in photos/ footage of non compliant motor vehicles.

Other than expressways, all trunk roads shall have 24/7 PMD/ public service vehicle/ bus lanes so that people who help others by delivering necessities or food can do so safely (and not keep closer to the side of the road than is safe to do so (see deliveroo rider pict below)):

And roads without space for reserved bus/PMD lanes shall be restricted to 30kph speed limits so that PMD and motorist can travel alongside/ be be safely overtaken and not be endangered even in case of an unfortunate accident.

The war against diabetes will be 24/7. People will interact more with each other and invent creative solutions to make the world cleaner and better and Singapore will once again become a pearl of the orient, a Mecca of opportunity and health and not just an old sweat shop that MNC have since abandoned for cheaper (greener) pastures like Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar. People too lazy use their feet end up having diabetes and Singapore has earned world record status for number of diabetes related foot amputations performed:

Singapore needs to reclaim it's forgotten title of an inclusive society and good government. Singapore needs to cull many obsolete sacred cows to advance in the new world.
