Since Biden took office, North Korea fired several rounds of missiles, some almost every couple of days. In March, they broke their pledge made between Kim Jong Un and Trump not to test longer range missiles by firing a ICBM towards the sea. And just recently there are reports that they are going to do a nuclear test any day now. These actions prove that Biden's foreign policy towards the country is a dismal failure. Under Trump, they tested a lot of missiles, firing ICBMs, and did a nuke test, but a year later, they stopped all these actions when Trump and Kim had a summit. However, as another summit broke down, they went back to testing, but mostly only shorter range missiles and not ICBMs and nuke tests. It was under Biden when the North decided to go back firing an ICBM and might do a nuke test.

I don't like how Biden handles the North Korea issue. This is a rerun of Obama's failed policy that made North Korea developed more nukes and carried out more nuke tests than when Trump was in office. If Trump signed a major agreement with Kim, then these stuff would have never happened.

Another 'Karen' complaining about nothing.

At least Biden isn't trying suck Kim Jong Un's dick, like Trump was. :knife: Kim didn't need to show off his power, since he had Trump under his charms. Trump has a disturbing infatuation with dictators, as he wants to be one.

Trump did NOTHING in 4 years, so your claim that he would have, is just plain WRONG.

As @Unthinking Majority rightfully says, North Korea is no threat to USA.

Giving Kim Jong Un attention is exactly what you DO NOT do. Kim Jong Un does more tests when you ignore him, because he wants attention.

Obama gave him nothing, and guess what? Nothing happened. Biden is doing the same.

DPRK testing nukes is like having a dumb neighbour(DPRK) with a pen-knife waving it around, as you(USA) watch from your home, on your front deck, sipping a Mojito, with an AR-15 across your lap.

@ingliz Both S Korea and Japan are under USA's protection. In fact, there are a great many US bases in each country.

Do you have evidence that S. Korea and Japan are fearful of Kim Jong Un's constant posturing?

I have found evidence to the contrary, in the past, when dealing with DPRK:

A South Korean journalist explains why her country isn’t panicking
But unlike in the US, few in South Korea seem panicked over the possibility of an impending war with North Korea. Instead, they are unfazed. The South Korean government even said on Thursday that it has “no sense of urgency” about North Korea.

Actually, in this case, it would be mostly North Korea's assured destruction. Maybe just NK's destruction.

NK is already close to Afghanistan so destroying it does not mean much.

Unless you are talking about sinking it under the water and make SK an island.
