The UK has not had any global influence since the British Empire collapsed. The UK delude themselves in the shadows of the US. The UK might have had some influence in Europe a few years ago but since Brexit, Europe aren't going to listen to them anymore. And perhaps that's a good thing. The UK really does need to stop interfering in world politics and just focus on trade. Because everytime we brown nose the American's in illegal wars, everything goes wrong and costs us the little global influence we have left to disappear further.

Indeed, we haven't been a global player since Suez, cosying up to the Americans (the same people that stripped us of our power in the first place) is a shit way of trying to get it back too. Splendid isolation is the way forwards, build socialism on our island fortress protected by our nuclear deterrent from foreign invasions and brutal tariffs from foreign competition and be a good example to the working class of the rest of the world. I also see from a Momentum email that the Tories are copying their grassroots efforts and employing tons of people to campaign for them on social media etc., I guess similar to Israeli hasbarists.
