What does your average gun owner have to do with gun violence?

About the same as the average Muslim has to do with terrorism.

So when are liberals going to stop blaming all gun owners for what is largely gun violence by a demographic that on average votes 90+ % for the Democratic Party?

Besides, the thing is that people who kill other people with guns are gun owners 100% of the time. So if you want to solve the issue with guns, including suicide by guns, you have to take guns out of the hands to people who are not psychologically stable enough to use them. There is a reason that the US has one of the highest rates of gun violence across races. We have an extremely violent culture, and a lot of that has to do with high amounts of access to guns. Australia got rid of guns and it has seen a massive drop in crime.

It's easy. When you are discussing gun control with people who don't care about their right to keep and bear arms and want to take away my right, you have to find something THEY care about or are and then use a parallel to threaten to take that away. MAYBE then they will "get it".

Yes, technically they are 100% gun owners, but many of them aren't LEGAL gun owners. That is like calling a person who walks into a store and steals something an "undocumented shopper". Yes, we have a gun culture, that is because we have a Second Amendment. Don't want that to be, the solution is simple, repeal the Second. There is a process to do that. We have taken away peoples ability to do things with Constitutional Amendments before ... say like drinking. How did that work out? How is the war on drugs working out? Murder is illegal and yet it still happens. Etc, etc, etc.

The problem isn't with an inannimate object (ie a gun), it's with people. Taking away all guns won't solve anything. Look at England ... take away guns, knife attacks went through the roof. Since THIS THREAD is about Muslim terrorism, why don't you talk about the wave of attacks that have been going on with things OTHER THAN guns ... you know, cars, trucks, bombs, knives. You know like the one in Flint, MI yesterday.
