Leading member of far-right AfD in Brandenburg converts to Islam

The Alternative for Germany is known for its mantra that “Islam doesn’t belong in Germany.” Now a senior member of the party in Brandenburg has caused a mini-sensation by converting to Islam.

Arthur Wagner, who until recently sat on the AfD state legislative committee in Brandenburg, told Tagesspiegel that his conversion to Islam was “a private matter”, refusing to comment further.

The conversion seems particularly peculiar, since only last summer Wagner was accusing Angela Merkel of making a “huge mistake” by opening Germany’s borders to refugees.

“Germany is mutating into a different country,” he said at the time, according to Tagesspiegel.

At the same time, Wagner is known in his hometown of Falkensee for being engaged in voluntary work to help refugees integrate into German society.

In line with the stance taken by the AfD across Germany, the party in Brandenburg claims that the spread of Islam in Germany poses a danger to societal peace.

On its homepage, the AfD Brandenburg writes that “Islam doesn’t belong in Germany. We see the ideology of multiculturalism as a serious threat to societal peace and cultural unity.”

On the record though, the party is saying that it has no problem with the fact that Wagner has become a Muslim.

“Religion is a private issue. We believe in religious freedom as stated in the constitution,” party spokesperson, Daniel Friese, told the Berliner Zeitung.

However, the party also confirmed that Wagner was no longer a member of the executive committee.

According to Friese, Wagner recently stepped down from the committee “for personal reasons.”

A decade Go, Mark Steyn wrote, "lots of "white supremacists" will find it's not the "white" but the "supremacist" bit they really like.

America Alone: The End of the World As We Know It
Mark Steyn - 2006

In Britain, a white supremacist neo-Nazi whose writings inspired a 1999 Soho nail bombing that killed three people has since converted to Islam. David Myatt, a founder of the British National Socialist Movement, is now Abdul-Aziz ibn Myatt. Formerly opposed to non-white immigration into the United Kingdom, he now says that "the pure authentic Islam of the revival, which recognizes practical jihad (holy war) as a duty, is the only force that is capable of fighting and destroying the dishonor, the arrogance, the materialism of the West .... For
the West, nothing is sacred, except perhaps Zionists, Zionism, the hoax of the so-called Holocaust, and the idols which the West and its lackeys worship, or pretend to worship, such as democracy." It's hard to imagine him ever changing back, and not just because he's on record as supporting the killing of those who leave Islam: a lot of his fellow "white supremacists" will find it's not the "white" but the "supremacist" bit they really like.

Finland’s female presidential candidate attacks Sweden’s fake feminists: They should not wear a scarf in Iran

By VOICE OF EUROPE 25 January 2018

Laura Huhtasaari is running for president of Finland. On Sunday we already published an article about her Trump-style election campaign as a member of the right-wing Finns Party.

This time she appeared on TV in Finland and answered some questions about feminism and foreign policy. She explicitly criticises Sweden in her reply:

The alternative media (UN Watch) was the first to show this image. Only a day after the BBC and other MSM reluctantly reported it.

Swedish goverment own site boasting itself as "the first feminist government in the world".

http://www.government.se/government-pol ... overnment/

A Feminist Government

Sweden has the first feminist government in the world. This means that gender equality is central to the Government’s priorities – in decision-making and resource allocation. A feminist government ensures that a gender equality perspective is brought into policy-making on a broad front, both nationally and internationally. Women and men must have the same power to shape society and their own lives. This is a human right and a matter of democracy and justice. Gender equality is also part of the solution to society’s challenges and a matter of course in a modern welfare state – for justice and economic development. The Government’s most important tool for implementing feminist policy is gender mainstreaming, of which gender-responsive budgeting is an important component.

Since 1968, who is Nazi who is not is blured in Europe. The left wing "Nazis" are far worse than the far right "Neo Nazis". They have much more influence and helped to legitimize a jihadi cause ("Palestinians") with cunning progressive phraseology. For many years, the far right was the main allies of the Arabs in Europe. Till 1968, they were the only champion of the "Palestinan" cause in Europe. Today, for obious reason they have some friction but in the future they may renew their alliance.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is often used to explain Muslim hatred of Jews. But Israel’s policies are not causing anti-Semitism. Rather, the way those policies are distorted and demonized in the Muslim world, and increasingly in Europe, is a new expression of this old hatred.

EU that regurally censored and sanitized the media report on Muslims actions in Europe, is more than happy to over report the "Palestinian" cause with all its lies and staged incidents. Moreover, to fuel fire by endless NGO's who are committed to "Palestinian" agitprop and death cult under the pretext of "Human Rights".

In 2003, their report on the rise of anti-Semitism in Europe found that “many anti-Semitic incidents were carried out by Muslim and pro-Palestinian groups”, and so (according to The Daily Telegraph) a “political decision” was taken not to publish it because of “fears that it would increase hostility towards Muslims”.
Got that? The EU’s principal “fear” about an actual ongoing epidemic of hate crimes against Jews is that it could hypothetically provoke an epidemic of hate crimes against Muslims.

There are more right wing politicians who left the 'reconquista' behind and joined their former enemy:
Daniel Streich Embraces Islam
Front National Member Converts to Islam

And the aforementioned Arnoud van Doorn:
Arnoud van Doorn: from anti-Islamic film-maker to hajj pilgrim

The islam looks like a reliable alternative to some from the anti-liberal right.

That's the point. They are not really "former enemies". It's EU states' official propaganda. The far right were the first who took the Arab Islamic cause, they were allies during the fascist Nazi era. The left (Kraisky in Austria and Palme in Sweden) start to take their cause in the late 60's with the growing of non aligned cause and Oil power. After 1973 oil embargo, it become an EU official endorsement. Under EC and Arab League rapprochement, the EC/EU countries took on themselves to improve the Arab image in the media. The result is what we see today in MSM, mainly in BBC.

These politicians studied the islam, because they wanted knowledge to battle the religion.
When they did this, they happened to see 'the light' and decided to convert.
Arthur Wagner didn't convert out of strategic reasons, but because he's an anti-homo bigot. It's not that complex.
They become more simpleminded when time passes.

In the case of Arnoud van Doorn:

Doorn was among the Freedom Party leaders who produced the blasphemous film, Fitna. Last month he reverted to Islam after an extensive study about the religion and the Prophet (peace be upon him).

He said that the worldwide outrage against the film made him study about the Prophet (pbuh) and that eventually led to his conversion.

(...)

“In my own close circle people have known that I have been actively researching the Qur’an, Hadith, Sunnah and other writings for almost a year now,” he said.

(...)

“I have heard so many negative stories about Islam, but I am not a person who follows opinions of others without doing my own research,” he said. “Therefore, I have actually started to deepen my knowledge of Islam out of curiosity.”

‘I am sorry, O Prophet…’

How on Earth does a professional Islamophobe end up converting to it anyway?
Very gradually, Van Doorn says. He started by reading the Qur'an and was then persuaded to visit a mosque, where he was surprised to find himself made welcome and ended up staying all day. "I had a warm feeling, and I was really a bit confused," he says.

Why I converted to Islam: Van Doorn

If it's only a matter of strategy, you don't study it so intensely or even convert.
Only being an anti-semite isn't reason enough to take such a drastic step.
Converts are an interesting breed of people.
