They both have one topic for discussion: the development of human investment in industry.
From 27 to 30 of March 2017 there was the First Global Manufacturing and Industrialization Summit, organized under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Muhammad ibn Zayd al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Deputy Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, at the University of Paris-Sorbonne in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
The summit was initiated by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) with the support of the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Economy and the Council on the global industrial production agenda of the World Economic Forum.
More than 3000 delegates from 40 countries from all over the world took part in the summit held in 2017 in Abu Dhabi and discussed the possibilities of using the technologies that emerged during the fourth industrial revolution to strengthen and to sustain the development of industry, society, business and national economies.
Prospects of the industrial integration of Russia and Europe have become one of the main themes of the First Global Manufacturing and Industrialization Summit in Abu Dhabi.
During the events of the 7th meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian – Arab Emirates Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation, there was signed a Memorandum on supporting the Russian initiative to hold the second Global Manufacturing and Industrialization Summit (GMIS) as part of the 10th INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition in July 2019 in Yekaterinburg.
At the plenary meeting of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on May 25 Russian President Vladimir Putin had noticed the static task of Russia to create a high-performance sector in the manufacturing industry, focused on expanding the export of competitive Russian goods, had noted also that in this context GMIS 2019 in Yekaterinburg on July 9–11 will be a landmark event.
“I invite all participants of the Forum to take part in the Second Global Manufacturing and Industrialization Summit which will be held in the Urals, in Yekaterinburg,” said Putin.
“Russia is proud to have the whole world as visitors on GMIS-2019, which will help find a successful, efficient and environmental way for the global manufacturing sector,” said Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
Now we will wait for the opening of the Global Manufacturing and Industrialization Summit in Yekaterinburg, and then we will sum up.
