British Prime Minister Liz Truss resigned Thursday after just six weeks in office, following a disastrous and rapidly reversed economic plan that sent the pound plunging and her government into chaos.

It was always inevitable, but when stupidity would hit the wall was an open question.

Guess we know now.

Hopefully they will get someone now that has competence, but it's not likely. If I understand Brit politics, the conservatives will need to be shown the door first.
