LA PAZ, Bolivia (Reuters) - A Bolivian miner protesting unpaid pensions blew himself up with dynamite in Bolivia's Congress on Tuesday.
Another two people may have been killed and six others injured, politicians and police officials said.

"It seems that there are three dead and six injured but that needs to be confirmed," Senate head Hormando Vaca Diez said. Local media said the two dead were police officials.

The incident came as President Carlos Mesa tries to ease tensions in Bolivia after October's deadly national revolt by farmers, workers and miners. The revolt led to the ouster of President Gonzalo Sanchez de Lozada.
