His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II reaches Romania upon the invitation of Mr. Nawaf Salameh, President of the Alexandrion Fondation. He is accompanied by His Eminence Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Patriarchal Vicar at the Patriarchal Archdiocese of Damascus, and Very Rev. Raban Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
His Holiness and the accompanying delegation were received at the airport by Mr. Nawaf Salameh and the Armenian Archbishop of Romania Datev Hakobian, and Greek Orthodox Archbishop Qais Sadek, Representative of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch at the Romanian Orthodox Patriarchate.
