I'm not back, I am still on my year long break reading, learning, being physical fit to prepare myself for conflict whether by words or violence, against communists, liberals, democrats and most of ignorant Afro-Americans slaves of those political groups.

I am here, because the day is the 40th anniversary of when The King of Kings,Conquering Lion of Judea,Elect of God, Emperor of Ethiopia, HRH Ras Imru Halie Selassie was overthrown by traitorous leftist military organization called the Derg and bring forth a reign of terror that still last to this day, only with a different political party. I want the punk ass communists and anarchists, (you know who you are) to read a passage from a fellow Ethiopian who's also an monarchist and live through the Derg, talk about that day:

On this day exactly40 years ago, September 12, 1974, the 160 member military coordinating committe (the Derg) sent a delegation of 10 junior officers to the Jubilee Palace in Addis Ababa to meet with His Imperial Majesty the Emperor. They asked that His Highness Ras Imiru Haile Selassie, the Emperor's cousin and life long confidant, come with them to witness the events that would take place. The heavily armed soldiers with a camera crew and the aged prince were ushered into the Emperor Haile Selassie's presence and Lt. Debela Dinsa tremblingly read to him the decision taken by the Derg that he was deposed. The Emperor's initial response was stony silence. Ras Imiru approached the Emperor, and after a whispered conversation, the Emperor replied that all his life, he had endeavored to work for the betterment of his people. He said that if it was found to be in the benefit of the country to emulate change of governments by coup as in other parts of Africa, and if he was found to no longer be of be of use, then he would do as they requested. They then asked him to come with them "to a place prepared for your majesty's comfort". He then summoned his valet and told him to come with him. The soldiers said the valet would follow later. A deeply shaken Ras Imiru, reportedly close to tears, asked for permission to accompany the Emperor, but his request was refused and he was told he could come and see the Emperor later in the day. The Emperor rose, and as he left the room, he asked Debela Dinsa who was clutching an uzzi sub-machinegun, "why are you holding your gun like that?" to which the junior officer stuttered a reply to the effect that he was trying to hold it more comfortably. The Emperor looked him in the eye and said sharply "I think not, I think it's to shoot it!" and swept out of the room. As the Emperor emerged onto the portico of the palace surrounded by the armed soldiers, a small baby blue volkswagen bug pulled up escorted front and back by army jeeps mounted by machine guns. Liveried palace staff and Imperial guards looked on in shock as the Emperor was put in the back of the volkswagen and driven away from his palace for the last time. As soon as the car pulled away, the footmen and maids on the steps and at the windows began to wail and weep. At the palace gates a small crowd of men was waiting. As the car and the escorting jeeps passed the men began to scream "thief! thief!" at the Emperor. It would be revealed decades later that they were soldiers dressed in civilian clothes brought out to give the act a veneer of public support. They needen't have bothered.

Within minutes, Radio Ethiopia issued the first Derg proclamation announcing the overthrow of "Ex-king" Haile Selassie I, the imposition of martial law, the desolving of parliament and of the dismissal of the Crown Council and the disbanding of the Imperial Courts. The Derg was henceforth to be called the Provisional Military Administrative Council Council, and Lt. General Aman Mikael Andom, a popular Eritrean born military officer and Imperial Senator, was declared it's chairman and acting head of state. It was also announced that Crown Prince Asfaw Wossen would be declared King (not Emperor) upon his return from medical treatment in Switzerland. Tanks and armoured military vehecles of all sorts took up positions around the city and a dusk to dawn curfew was ordered. Radicalized leftist students poured into the streets cheering the soldiers and burning portraits of the Emperor, calling for a socialist government and the abolishment of the monarchy.

The Emperor was taken to the 4th Army Division headquarters where government ministers, nobles, regional governors and high military officers were all being held, and he was temporarily housed in the vacated house of one of the senior division commanders. Later that day, his Doctor and Ras Imiru came to visit him and two palace servants were permitted to come attend to his personal needs.

At the house in Geneva where Crown Prince Asfaw Wossen was staying during his treatment for the debilitating stroke he had suffered a year earlier, a member of his staff came out to meet the press who were clamoring for a statement on his being proclamed by the coup leaders in Addis Ababa. The staff member said that "His Imperial Highness has not received any official communication from Addis Ababa, is following events closely, and is deeply concerned about the welfare of his father and other family members in the country" and said that there were no further statements to be made. The wording of the statement being issued in the name of "His Imperial Highness" made it clear that the Crown Prince did not recognize the events of the day as legitimate.

Within two months, 60 ex-officials of the Imperial government including the Derg's first chairman General Aman Andom, a grandson of the Emperor, nobles, ministers, generals, governors and judges would be massacred initiating the blood drenched "Red Terror" era of Derg ruled Ethiopia. Major Mengistu Haile Mariam, elevated to Lt. Colonel, would emerge as the strongman of the Derg. Within 6 months the monarchy would be abolished together with all noble titles, the Ethiopian Orthodox Church was disestablished as the Church of State, and communism proclaimed as the official state policy. Withn a year, Haile Selassie I would be dead, murdered it is said by suffocation with an ether soaked pillow. And soon there after, the radicalized leftist student movement and the Derg would clash over their seperate brands of communism, and drench the country in a bloodbath that it had never previously seen.

So ended the rule of Ethiopia's ancient Imperial dynasty.

Let me here your excuses, like all communists like to do, like: "that's not a communist state, it's state capitalist" or "true communism did not exist.". Or "Derg was better for Ethiopia" and "Haile Selassie was a tyrant".

Who ever is a communist truly has no respect for his race, culture and religion. I'm done now, go spew your shit.

More like a great day for Africa. Africa's Nicholas II was overthrown and the tyrant lived his last days like a dog. A man who had unjust privilege and exploited his subjects like feudal peasants, was reduced to nothing when he was overthrown.

Good riddance to the monarchy and long live the republic!

Man, that guy sounded like a sniveling coward. No matter who got in next, Ethopia must have been better off without such a loser in charge.
