Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has got gold medal for best e-governance in the country. The state has in all received five awards for best use of information and technology services. The drug logisitic and management system of the health department has got silver medal while E-procurement of Induistries and Mines department, E- Krishi Kiran of Anand Agriculture University and Hospital management system of health department have respectively bagged bronze medal. The awards have been given by the Administrative reforms and public grievances and Information technology department of the Central government.
