India has many poor people in it. There just has to be a solution, but nobody seems to know what it is. What do you think needs to be done?

The country posted GDP growth of 7.1% last year, the highest in thirty years. The population of India living under the poverty line has been halved from what it was in the late 1970s. I think it's doing pretty decently.

India is in very poor shape for the most part. I know they have some nice places but at least. 75% of the country is very poor and very dirty.

I would not debate that India is an agrarian country with most people still living in the villages, but what do you expect from a country that has been free for 56 years and opened its markets only in early 1990s?

India has excelled tremendously in all fields. Name any and i'll give you loads of examples....

And it's a nuclear state in it's own right despite strong opposition from countries like US....
