Can I say something? Just a little thing...
Fuck 9/11.
Fuck it.
2000+ people died. Sad. 2000 people died on average every day in the 1998-2003 Congo War. That's a great deal sadder, and given the inability of humanity to come to terms with 'problems' like Congo (especially given the role of mineral businesses in funding the conflict there) a great deal more important.
The "world" didn't "change" on 9/11. It wasn't the end of the universe and, when all is said and done, when they write the history books, 9/11 will be a blip, while the reaction to it may well mark the beginning of the end of the American superpower.
The comics you have shown are exactly the kind which show C+F at their worst: misleading, jingoistic and crude. The French have an expression pensee unique meaning "a single thought" and I think it applies well to C+F.

A stubborn porcupine: heredity & nationhood. Meditate, brother!
